- This creepy transmission was transmitted on 121.5 (the International Emergency Frequency).
The message was replayed every 4-8 minutes. Location: North Sea
Does anyone know what language this is in?
#mystery #flying #emergencyfrequency #737max #pilotlife
Does anyone have any idea what this is all about? Or what language this is in? I tired to replay the entire thing backwards but it didn't make any sense.
I have been listening to some interesting frequencies on my scanner recently, but this takes the biscuit! Also please do some more Huey Marianas stuff i just got the huey and want to see some cool places to fly.
@@jesphillips2193 I'll see what I can do :)
@@CommandT I'll look forward to it! Oh and is this you actually flying the MAX irl when this happened? If so then do you constantly monitor 121.5 while flying?
honestly probably some dude on the ground trying to scare the shit out of the airspace.. AI crap
I came here legitimately thinking this would be meowing.
Haha. Haven’t heard that in a while
Imagine hearing that in a Cessna -172 all Alone just off the shore
Haha, yep! 🙈
Definitely hella spooky. Can’t imagine being up there all by your lonesome in the dark hearing this shit. FUCK that.
That is borderline creepy man! Doesn't sound like any language i've heard, but there are some words that really sound like english.
Yeah I found it pretty creepy too! 😳
@@CommandT Sounds like if you had a stroke
Never monitoring 121.5 again x)
I know… you can get traumatised for sure 🙈
You could also input the date and approx time into the interwebs with keywords like "emergency" to see if anyone encountered this.
The best way if anyone wants to play horror detective is to write each sound down phonetically (with the International Phonetic Alphabet), then check which language includes these phonemes. A decent audio engineer could also dissern if it was compressed or otherwise damaged during transmission.
That's the Xas'tal alien language, i will recognize it anywhere.
100% 😅
maybe a Norwegian oil rig ATIS but I'm just guessing
Yeah I thought it was Nordic too, but my Norwegian friend confirmed it’s not Norwegian.
@@CommandTMaybe another nordic country? Sweden or Finnland? Sounds almost like something out of a horror movie…😂
@@dylman5744 Not Swedish or Finnish, nor Icelandic from what I can tell
@@dylman5744 Yeah, it's not in any of the normal Nordic languages.
The cadence sounds a bit like a cross between something like Swedish/Norwegian and Estonian or maybe Hungarian? Could someone have set a text-to-speech synthesizer to the wrong language? For example, wrote a message in Estonian but mistakenly had it spoken by a Swedish TTS? Wild speculation but seems as likely as anything else.@@CommandT
Aliens confirmed 😂
Yep!
Aliens
Very strange
Indeed!
Someone trapped in the backrooms, found a radio transmitter that broke through to the front rooms. :)
Try playing it backwards. The cadence is wrong for English.
I did that already. It did not yield any results. But I also suspected that the message was backwards form the start. Don’t think so any more
Pilots sometimes mistakenly call the "approach" air traffic controller at 121.5 MHz. I've heard it a few times.
Sure, but this is not the case here
Okay this legitimately creeped me out, I'm pretty sure it's a prank but it's freaky
How are you liking the Max? How fast can it go from 0ft -> FL300 -> 0ft? 😀
Not very fast. The NG can do it much quicker 😅 I prefer the MAX though. It’s just not very good for 0 to 300 and back
I did not realise that the NG could climb faster. In the Airbus world, the neo is like a rocket compared to the ceo. Anyway, keep up the good work. Cgaviator needs to try the 0-300-0 in DCS, I hop he does! :) Come on @cgaviator
@@oistk8956 Thanks! MAX feels punchy off the line and low altitude but just drags it's feet up high. I still prefer it in just about every way though!
Eerie! Hope we get an explanation for this one day!
Indeed!
Alien AI having an intoxicated conversation with Earth AI? In any case, better send more (digital images) of flowers.
Must be the Glaswegians
Hahaha. Nah, too tame for Glaswegian.
Dont scare the children with your made up people. LOL Like human live in Glasgow, what a joke.
When was this recorded?
I'm not a linguist but it doesnt sound like Norwegian. Maybe Finnish? Thought it does remind me of Chinese somewhat.
If it were aliens it would’ve happened somewhere near New York 🤪
Looks like a Ka-52 cockpit
Ha! It’s similar!
I hate creepy things like this... Did you ever find out what it was?
No but someone said it’s a “numbers station” - a spy message basically.
Number station can use this sort of frequency ?
Could be!
Only thing I understood VERY clearly was......DECEASED!!!! ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
We heard this continuously north/East of France going South for Spain. 2-5 mins. Any news what it was?
Nope, no idea. Nobody I asked seems to have any idea!
Do you still have no idea what this is?
The best answer I found was that it’s a numbers station - a hidden spy message.
It sounds like it's being played backwards
I thought so too initially. I played the track backwards but it didn't make sense and felt even less natural.
@@CommandT I did too. I think it might have to do with how the audio is being played in physical space in the video, so reversing the video essentially doubles the distortion of it. Either way I still couldn't make it out.
@@drburgermaster I sent it to Combat Learjet. Maybe he can put it out on his IG and see what everyone else thinks. Someone might have an explanation!
What game is this?
Real life
FS2030 😁
