It felt good waking up to an orderly space thanks for the reminders on this channel but I achieve it I think that is why when I make messes I clean it quickly since I have established systems
Sounds great but where in the heck do I store the misplaced items? Guess put the boxes with all the other boxes I have to go through. Ugh, I never have time! I'm gonna try this method though!
On another channel I saw someting very similar to this method but instead of throwing everything from one room into that box she designates a box to each room. So she decides which box she will take and then goes from room to room (or just one room) and puts everything into that box which belongs into the respective room. That way you will know when you want to empty a box which room you will have to bring that box. I was thinking about combining these two methods. So I would have one box which I will take into all of the rooms I want to declutter and then I would transfer the stuff into the respective boxes for each rooms. But I'm not sure whether that's going to work or whether it's only working in my imagination. 😅 Just wanted to let you know so you maybe can come up with something better!
If people would be better at doing things, in the moment, their bedroom wouldn't get messy. I figure it's easy to put my dirty clothes in the hamper as I take them off. Throw trash in the can immediately. Put shoes in the closet as you remove them. 2 minutes in the morning to make my bed vs 15 mins to clean a mess that should never be. Who teaches these people their messy habits? I think they are just lazy & they won't take the 15 mins each morning if they can't take the seconds it takes to do it first.

I organize my apt yesterday. I time myself 15 min for each task. I make messes but often pick them up 😂
