I noticed you didn't mention the dozens of pages of "additional charge recommendations" that trademark engine has you go through after selecting the $69 option. I'm wondering if you selected any of these?
Hi Thanks for this great video. So quick question if I used Trademark engine to get the trademark done much faster would I be able to then once completed enroll in Brand Registry?
@@selfmadetrophywife9945 Hi, great videos, very useful. My issue is I live in Australia, but have a US account. Getting a trademark here in Australia takes many months, if my trademark is pending, and if it is from Australia, are there any necessary steps to take when it is a registered trademark in Australia, or you just apply as normal, thanks?
@@billshinas27 I'm not sure about Australia but i'm sure it's the same process across the platform. Just a waiting game until everything gets approved UNLESS you use IP accelerator.
Hi How many classification did you pay to sell products on Amazon? I am working with trademark paramount and they told me I need to pay three different classification ($350 times 3 ) total fee came out $1100 including tax I am just wondering these three classifications are necessary- I am sure first one is necessary Trademark/Service Application, Basis for Filing Assigned Classes by USPTO ($350 per class) 1: Jewelry, Keychain, Bracelet etc. $350 2: Advertising, Business and Retail Services 3: Online/Physical Sales
This video has alot of value. I also do FBA but I just want to trade mark my company more or less not actually sell a private label item on amazon. Essentially I want to just trademark with my state. Is that a completely different process or would u suggest i go through ustpo instead?
@@selfmadetrophywife9945 but how do I sell without a trade mark because it asks me for it to register my brand and I can't sell without registering my brand right? Im so confused because it won't let me create a listing without a product ID number and my products are already being produced and have been paid for, I hope someone with a good heart helps me please lol
Great video! I subscribe your channel. So how to get your brand name? I heard we should submit the images of your product and packaging images with your brand and logo affixed on. how to let your suppliers make them so they can met the requirements for trademark application?
THanks for subing! Yes you have to provide a photo of your item with logo on it when applying for a TM. You can take the photo yourself or have your supplier do it. If you have an online store you can simply screenshot the item and submit that as well.
Thank you for great info please let me know under registered trademark can I sell diffrent things ? And will I have more protection against my seller account deactivation ?
hi thank you for the content. I will be selling soon in about a month, but what happens if the logo that I designed is already taken by someone else? But this does not mean everyone who has their own logo has to be registered for trademark? how does that work?
You can start FBA now. You don’t need a TM to start FBA. If you choose the traditional way i showed here it will take 9 months but if you choose the amazon accelerator program you can get brand registered tools within a few weeks (still have to wait 9 months for TM).
@@selfmadetrophywife9945 thanks for your prompt response, do you have any video for create a FBA listing? im trying now but it shows error with brand, thanks for your help, and sorry for my newbie question

So, when doing the procedure, I wait 9 months, but I can ask amazon for the tools beforehand and that they authorize the brand.
Hi, can you please explain amazon IP accelerator step by step to get trade mark, it would be a great help, Thanks
i have no used amazon IP accelerator yet but if i do i will make a video on it.
This was extremely helpful I sincerely thank you...
Thank you! Sounds very simple. At list now.

Hi
How many classification did you pay to sell products on Amazon?
I am working with trademark paramount and they told me I need to pay three different classification ($350 times 3 ) total fee came out $1100 including tax
I am just wondering these three classifications are necessary- I am sure first one is necessary
Trademark/Service Application, Basis for Filing Assigned Classes by USPTO ($350 per class)
1: Jewelry, Keychain, Bracelet etc. $350
2: Advertising, Business and Retail Services
3: Online/Physical Sales
This video has alot of value. I also do FBA but I just want to trade mark my company more or less not actually sell a private label item on amazon. Essentially I want to just trademark with my state. Is that a completely different process or would u suggest i go through ustpo instead?
Do you need to provide some sort of proof that the future trademark is being used?
It’s stated on the website that USPTO fees is $350 and not $275. Seems like there’s an increase in fees?
they have increased... 😨 so its that fee + this $69 trade engine fee?
Thank you this was very helpful because you covered a lot of topics ! Would you suggest to apply for a trademark when launching your 1st product ?
No i wouldn’t recommend you get a trademark until you learn Amazon FBA better. I’m glad you enjoyed my video 😁

when do you pay the USPTO fees?
So it takes 9 months before you can add your products to Amazon?
After apply the trademark ,how soon you can use it?
If I went this route, do I get a Trademark Pending number so I could create a brand almost right away ?
If you mean you can access the brand tools on Amazon right away then no.
I am from the Philippines but can I still register there?
can i use my registered trademark in spain to sell in usa under that brand?
Very helpful, thank you!
Hey is transparency necessary?
hi thank you for the content. I will be selling soon in about a month, but what happens if the logo that I designed is already taken by someone else? But this does not mean everyone who has their own logo has to be registered for trademark? how does that work?
i wouldn't use the same logo if someone else is already using it.
@@selfmadetrophywife9945 how would i know? how can i search for the picture, not the brand name?

So once we pay the $350 for the trademark what comes next after that?
Trademark engine submits the paperwork to the USPTO for you and you wait up to 12 months for approval. If it gets rejected the USPTO will notify you.
@@selfmadetrophywife9945 Thank you very much. And would we be able to notify Amazon in the meantime and move forward with the brand registry process?
@@TreSatch As soon as you get your serial number from USPTO you can notify Amazon and apply for BR.

9 Months?! Wow lol
9 months... wtf.....
