I'm using a CB 1241 - 6ES7241-1CH30-1XB0 (Rs485 module) which firmware version is 1.0. I cannot find an update firmware for this does this mean I need to buy another rs485 module to get this to work?

Make sure your drive parameters are changed correctly. there is to many things that could affect it, but start with that.
when I run the v20 on the display must appear the value of the frequency that varies?
I don't have the motor and I see the frequency at zero
If it is on, frequency should show, regardless if motor is connected or not.

Yes, it can, just change the address when you create the next USS_DRV adders from 1 to 2 and so on. Don't forget to do that in the drive as well.

Hi, Thanks for the Video, great stuff. My problem is that I am getting an error on my USS_PORT, error code is 16#818B (Invalid pointer to the local data source/target). It must be the setting on my V20 but I am struggling with identifying my issue? Any suggestions?
Did you set up 4 core parameters from the manual in description below?

Try to swap the cables P+ and N- on the terminal block of V20 VFD

You can set the frequency and see it on VFD but to see the actual frequency, you need motor.

Hi There. Check the parameters between plc program and Drive. Make sure everything matches between them. The resistor is not necessary, but good thing to have, it should not stop the communication.
