He's a natural stone mason. I've been in construction for 50 years and would have loved to have had him, or any craftsmen on his level on my jobs but they've gone from rare to nonexistent. They are a treasure.
What this guy does is about the level of a Ukrainian teenager. I dare to suggest that in your area there are no masters from Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic... ❤.
Smart to create a water diverter with drainage ditch. Most people overlook that when building shelters in or on hillsides and their shelter floods. The only issue with his shelter, he should have lined the back wall against the hill with plastic. The stones will always be wet and musty smelling.
Basements aren't always dank and musty. When burning wood, one generally needs to use some means to humidify the air. His fireplace will probably keep things dried out.
@evelynwaugh4053 I’m possible when just on the other side of a wood wall is a hill of soil. It’s not possible to dry that much soil, moisture will always pass through it. The wood wall, despite a fire will still rot and mildew.
@zfilmmakerSurely, that depends on the water table there. Hills shed water, they don't necessarily absorb it. That is why people living on hills and mountains have to drill so deep for wells.
Honestly, my man you amazes me ! I've never seen such a thorough, and such a detailed, made-in-the-woods cabin, I've watched a lot of videos like this, but this guy just amazed me. Keep the great work !
@ForestForest-n9i No but it is fake: the magic concrete at 4:44, getting sand (it seams) and adding water will not make concrete. To actually make some, you need so many things: water, air, fine sand (yes, he did have that) cement, and many more chemicals.
Bonne continuation!
Extra hard work, thought and imagination on this one! Is fabulous. Ceretainly safe from the elements and prey animals, but I worry about snakes coming down the chimney or sliding in underneath the door! Dog house just extra work, should be inside with you!!👌
I always appreciate how you don't just dig a hole in the ground and throw some sticks on it. Craftmanship and attention to an aesthetic finish. Thanks for the vids!
This person planned ahead and knows colder weather. Underground, insulation, snow melt precautions. Dog for warning. Am curious on 3 things. Where to stockpile the food securely, and defenses on those critters who are foraging for meals like the food and people. Also how much and where wood needed to maintain life if in a projected winter storm?.
I love Slavic culture, where there is an abundance of "Salt of the Earth" men who are competent at building beautiful yet useful things. Men that creative and still very masculine.

Watching the full process of building this underground den is so satisfying - from raw earth to a hidden shelter deep in the wild, it’s pure patience, skill, and survival mindset all in one.
Built a sick ass fort as a kid and would take naps in it but it was short lived because there was a crazy old man that rented a spot in a warehouse that was behind our house he acted like he owned it all and would call the police but never did anything and said you are not doing anything wrong. So when I woke up from a nap I heard his van coming and booked it to the house and went upstairs and watched what he would do and sure enough he tore down the fort and I was so pissed and sad. Like is this what you do to kids when nobody is around? Idk what his problem was but he had an evil soul. Why do you feel the need to harass a kid playing in the woods behind his house
Even the ones that use machines to get the job done between the solo action shots still make a decent video watch imo.. skill is skill regardless of how they get to the finished project
Uh, you can literally see dozens of modern machines (tools are machines) used all throughout the video... There are obviously factory cut giant stones (WAY too heavy for a man to carry over rough terrain) being used all the time.. and at least 3 types of decorative stones all the exact same color, likely from a modern quarry. You can also see time pass through winter, spring, summer... the dog gets visible older... And he has rubber tarps, plastic sheeting, fire-starter kits, even a fkn battle-axe... It's OBVIOUSLY some guy building within 500 meters of his house or a road, with a pickup truck, being supplied by a functional modern society... Only a truly gullible person would believe this was some "survival" tutorial that one man could do alone in the wilderness. At the end he even has an entire kitchen's worth of supplies to make the meal. No one with a functional brain would imagine he carried all that shit in - ON his back - to make ONE meal... get a grip on reality.

So fun to watch and I see the structural flaws and ignore them because no matter what, it’s going to be absolutely beautiful in the end.
Why would you put a locking mechanism for front door on outside instead of inside? 24:34. Also, why not use glass instead of flimsy plastic for windows. 25:24. Doesn't glass windows retain heat better than plastic windows? The one thing that you did right was digging a drainage system around your dugout. Thumbs up. Design of shelter is also very good.
its amazing he was able to do this alone in just 38 minutes, i feel like it would probably take me all day
😂😂😂😂
🤣😆🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think one year
If you notice, he moves at superhuman speed. I think you need to take some serious prescriptions to achieve his speed.
Maybe I’m crazy, but did anyone else hear the sound of a chain saw or some sort of machinery throughout the video?
Yes
It's a good thing they didn't use AI😂😂😂
Fake as all heck in terms of "making it on your own"
but..... at least its not AI!!!!
Yeah there is

There's no such thing as a "Natural" stone mason. He is well trained in the craft. I wholeheartedly agree. Craftsmen at this level are extremely rare.
@ThomasNewman-xe2igprzyjedz do Polski jak wiesz gdzie leży ten Kraj 😂to zobaczysz jak pracują fachowcy w każdym zawodzie

Please don’t use Ai generated thumbnails, just share your actual build, that’s way more perfect!
100% i agree i hate that
Yes! I agree 😊
How do you know the thumbnail image is fake?
@kevinjones9660just by looking at it?
@kevinjones9660 Well for one thing, it doesn't even match the build.

He's got a Mary Poppins bag of endless necessities.
Not everything is in the briefcase; there are things behind the scenes.
I'm betting there's a Walmart around the corner.
You can really feel the time and effort behind this build. The step-by-step progress makes it so satisfying to watch. Well done.

Betul sekali harus kerja keras 😊❤❤❤❤
Don't worry about the snakes. They really don't eat much... 😂😂😂
@Юлия-о8е9гinside helps with heat
I’m pretty sure his backpack has an undetectable extension charm! There’s nothing not in it. Great project and amazing job!

A man and his dog can do anything. Well done Lesnoy. Very satisfying vid. I learned allot😁
*A lot.
@SuperAieee The spelling cops have entered the building🙄
@SuperAieeego get a job and life
So THAT'S where the Bagginses moved after Return of the King!
I fricken love this response lol!
My thoughts went in the same direction. I bet this guy built all of the Hobbits homes. Cause i never saw any Hobbits build anything....
The dog is so smart and adorable - truly a wonderful friend.
Thank goodness he found a wild 2x4 tree for the door! LOL
Right. And matching, clean stones in the wilderness.
Massive respect for your hard work Camping like this is not easy at all

Quite possibly my most favorite video of all time! Deeply satisfying! I could watch this all day
I love Slavic culture, where there is an abundance of "Salt of the Earth" men who are competent at building beautiful yet useful things. Men that creative and still very masculine.
Not any more in the US. Not only could he build a house, but he made bread and put together a seasoning for a chicken. He can cook too.
This boys gonna do fine after WW3
Looks like he prepare for 😂
if only nuclear weapons would not exist
Brilliant ....Enjoyed every minute of that.
Super šikovný majster aj kuchár!

Watching the full process of building this underground den is so satisfying - from raw earth to a hidden shelter deep in the wild, it’s pure patience, skill, and survival mindset all in one.
He knows what he is doing. He built a shelter that I would feel secure in. Very skillful crafts man.
Projects like this make wilderness building feel like an art.
Beautiful shelter for relaxation.

Wonder if that really was hand dug kind sus with road noise and chainsaws going in back ground none the less still a great build
I assume some help, manual or mechanical , was used, understandably. His skill & creativity is the focus 👌
Who cares no one would build this in a “survival situation” to many wasted calories
Why did you put a lock on the outside
Dang if it isn't on the outside. Go figure.

Soooo beautiful!!!
very sad the dog didn't sleep inside with him
HE SLEPT IN HIS NICE OUTSIDE DOG HOUSE IT IS OKAY
An outside dog house has no source of heat. Especially a puppy, as this one seems to be, needs an external heat source to avoid hypothermia.
I know! My babies sleep with me in my bed, all 5 of them.
City folk
@gilliansl First off, that dog has a fur coat, he's fine. Second, there's no way that spoiled dog slept in the dog house.

You have mad skills, especially with a hatchet. I would have made the roof a little higher, but otherwise this is perfect.

VERY INTERESTING, WELL DONE!
I love your house I however need more padding in my bed lol
Am I am the only one who watch these video's before sleeping at night
no you are not the only one. I am watching also. 4/4/06. I love these shows
No you are not. They are my sleeping pill. 😊
Akita grew up during the making.. good job nevertheless... as some others mentioned, be 💯 no AI anywhere
Wow his masonry skills are insane
What does a latch outside the door help?
And the axe.😊
Incredible build. Cool to see the dog grow throughout to give you a good perspective of just how long this process took.
Where did he get all those stones? Some were perfectly shaped. He works so hard and never looks fatigued.
he did it on more than one day so he took time to Rest most likely
Dude, you're amazing, bravissimo.
Fantastic Video! What an incredible creativity and knowhow!
