Notes: (1) 日 can be translated as either “day” or “sun”, but it appears that, judging by various example sentences that I looked at, the phrase 日は/が来る is usually translated with the former meaning in mind, and 日は/が出て来る (detekuru), 昇る （noboru） etc. is used when the meaning is the latter. (2) 胸 literally means “chest”, but it can also mean “heart” or “mind”, depending on the context, and 叩き割る (tatakiwaru) means “to smash, break into pieces." I was originally going to translate this line as ”(she) breaks the sniper’s heat" in order to carry over the sentiments from one of the earlier verses. Kogareru (焦がれる), which is written with the character for “burn; char; scorch”, means “to yearn for; to be in love with” and kogareshinu (焦がれ死ぬ) means “to pine away; to die from love." However, the dictionaries I consulted don’t list 叩き割る with any secondary meanings, and I couldn’t find any good example sentences that used the phrase "胸(を)叩き割る” outside of this song (although the phrase kokoro wo tatakiwaru (心を叩き割る) does seem to carry connotations of breaking someone’s heart), so I translated the line as you see here.
