Great, this kind of grinding tools were there in South Indian homes,a revival of this kind of tools is a must, a scope for cottage level operation.

I am having these king of small home use and manually operate flour machine. My granny used this to get flour. Best for physical work out as well. This stone does not get hot while rotates as compare to commercial machines. So you get nutrients in flour as compare to commercials.

I feel lucky to have eaten bread of flour of this mill. My Allah bless my mother peace in heavens. She used to operate this hand mill early in the morning. It's sound was so sweet that it lulled us to continue sleeping. But mother's call for prayers and preparation for school made us get up and enjoy flavour of freshly cooked ROTI (bread).

Before saying anything please watchout what you are first and no need of blaming the country. From the ancient time it’s been using for making flour. Again it depend on what quality of stone is used if it is soft then the chips of stone will be gridded with flour but it not the thing we buy the product after examining it.
Before making the flour first when we bring it we grind very little amount of wheat or other gain to make flour and again and again it is used for 6 to 7 times so that small chips present in the stone can be get rid of it. Later use it for making flour.
And more over our ancestors are more strong than us bcz of not using the machines.

you shouldn't have to. As new grain is gravity fed in, it pushes the flour out the gap between the two stones. You can see it falling out and collecting in the dish. Obviously, there will be some residual grain left in the rock, but not that much.

for us that eat teaspoons s of clays a few bits of good rock is only a bonus. The main indication why such a mill is good is how subtly its acquisition is blocked in the west. there are some false resistance variants in Austria, fancy but with a small millstone. this simple and powerful variants are so hard to come by. The stone carvers doing them will be under heavy mind attack for their work that is sure because they are trying to rock tho boan. Please inform me where you can get the best mills in Europe....

I sell these for 350 and they work great. I have video to prove. Dont settle for weak made versions with. Stone that is not pure. You can see more on my FB site at Dean Reganess

Mine are hand powered no electricity needed. $350 for a standard mill that not just looks old world but is exactly the ancient style. Check out my link. m.ruclips.net/video/1MFRWyqK5VI/видео.html
