I'm considering a 2nd part to introduce the friend that the symbiote sounds like (this was an in-universe excuse for both of them having Fake's voice lol), but I probably need to write things so that only one of them talks in a given video, because both could get confusing.

I had a dream once where a symbiote tried to come back to me after being separated for a while. Since she had a female body and yet talked like the symbiote would, I guess the symbiote was using a woman's body and the woman wasn't in control, at all.

From what I heard here and based off my knowledge of the Spider-Man universe you weren't that far off. All you really missed was the free costume and chocolate addiction (as far as I know the chocolate addiction is only in the Venom movie universe but I think it funny.)

Symbiotes are interesting organisms. Usually a creature hitching a ride off someone else isn't a good thing for the host. Symbiotic relationships are mutually beneficial however. Some of them can get really crazy. There's a type that replaces the tongues of fish!
That fish tongue crab is a parasite not a symbiote. It only takes.
