Brian, rather than glueing the metal plate to the phone (which a lot of people won't) you could just suggest they put it in their phone case (glued or not), behind their phone, and stick the case to the magnetic board instead :)

It was never suggested to glue the metal plate. It has an adhesive strip.

Very nice design Brian! Unfortunately, I own the Nexus 6, which has a curved back. I wish I never bought that phone, that curved back has caused me many problems.

Sorry, Brian, but I'm not too keen on gluing a piece of metal to the back of my phone. Besides, the back of my Moto X is curved.

You don't glue anything to your phone. You use the adhesive strip on the metal plate.
