Mrs Lush reminds me similar of my wife with the cart return thing. She'll hold a door for anyone and have good manners, or slow and signal to allow someone to drive out of a junction, but if they don't acknowledge her even by a look. She'll waves happily, and passively-aggressively says in passing;...."you're welcome!" ~Planting those 'lil self-guilt seeds! No bad thing in my eyes.

Here in Germany most supermarkets have shopping carts with chained locks connected to the cart in front: Pushing in a coin (usually 50 Cents to 1€ or plastic ones of the same size) unlocks the hook and you can pull out that cart. Most people return their carts after shopping to get back the deposit. Similar to the PET bottle deposit. But even without such an incentive it should be normal to bring the cart back to where one took it from.
He is antagonistic for the all right reasons. How do you not return your cart when you're RIGHT next to it or even close to it?! You had all the time when you walked into the store and spent 40 minutes to an hour buying your items and putting your items away yet it takes 1 minute to put a cart back.
Yes, I think killing with kindness is better than what this guy is doing. If he approached me; he'd be SO annoying, I wouldn't take the cart back just to spite him.
Leon, I love the cart activism. Thanks for sharing the cartnarc channel with us, and Mrs. Lush, the gentle cart shame is a nice tip I’m going to try. My BIGGEST peeve is litter. I’ve considered a light gentle shaming to lazy litterbugs. If EVERYONE 8 yrs & up on this planet picked up ONE single piece of trash we’d have less of a litter issue.
If I see someone leave a cart in a space I'll grab it and say, "All it takes is a few extra steps". Some people just laugh but others sit there and look ashamed. It may do nothing at all, but I like to think the majority remember it.

I have a really nice cart story! Yesterday at a grocery store, I had put all my groceries in my trunk and then was getting my 3 kids all buckled in their car seats when a man walked up to my cart behind my car and said that he would take it for me so I wouldn't have to worry about putting it away. This was not a store employee, just a nice stranger who saw a mom with her hands full and wanted to help. It was so kind!!! I always return my carts, but the only times I haven't are when it's further away than I feel safe leaving my kids alone in the car while it's running (due to extreme cold or heat and needing to turn on the car before putting my kids in it)... I won't risk someone potentially stealing my car with my kids in it. So there are nice people who will even gladly return other people's carts for them 😁.
Aw that’s so sweet. Thx for sharing. Not a cart story but an overwhelmed mom story: I was driving with my toddler son who was losing his mind. No clue why. So I stopped and parked, got out and opened the door to try to calm him. I was so stressed and just wanted to cry. An older man was walking by and I forget exactly what he said but it was so affirming and understanding I practically melted. This was 8 years ago. I’ll never forget. It’s so easy to be kind.

Okay listen I've worked as a heart gatherer years ago and the times when people left a group of far away shopping carts was the best I was forced to be out in the hot Arizona Sun for 30 minutes to an hour anyway having the opportunity to pop in my music while I work for 10 to 15 of those 30 minutes, away from the cameras that were constantly watch was golden so if I leave my cart far away in my mind it's a service to the poor overworked employee to get out from under sauron's eye
I totally agree……except in one case. They never have cart returns near the handicapped parking. How do they expect people in a motorized cart to return it and then walk a ways back to their vehicle?
Bro, I used to shoplift a lot. Late teens, didn't have money, self checkout was a new thing. Yeah, I'd steal something every time I went shopping. But id still return the carts.
Would disabled people like me or my grandmother count as lazy, since we need the cart to walk and often leave our carts near the disabled parking, but not in the way of a spot? I'm always happy when I see someone has left a cart near a disabled spot, that I can use.
Leaving a cart where it doesn't belong BUT where it cannot damage any cars or is easy for an employee to bring back is not the same as being lazy. Just like how being disabled isn't being lazy. depending on your disability since some people can be both. I have to do something similar since my disability affects me to where I can't drive large stuff like cars and I haven't been able to afford a motorcycle yet. So I use an electric skateboard and end up having to leave my cart in front of stores often as there isn't usually a safe place to get ready to leave and leave from near cart returns. And I can't really just leave my board unattended due to risk of theft or getting run over by a car.
As an in-home caregiver, I have a number of clients who do that. Sometimes they don't really need to use their walker while shopping, because a cart suffices just as well. A lot of the time, I'll choose to park next to an abandoned cart, just so I don't have to go fetch one from the rack for them. So long as it's close to the entrance, I wouldn't have them walk any more than absolutely necessary. So yeah, there is a tiny silver lining to people being lazy and not putting away their carts.
It's really not appropriate. Obviously safety is more important so if you're alone and couldn't get to the corral and back then don't but the space around the disability parking is for wheel chairs.
I didn't even know that people not returning their cart happened so often that a dude could make an entire youtube chanel out of it, like I never ever even saw 1 cart outside of a "cart return place thingie".

I’m not the type to leave my cart out; but let’s say I did. If I left a cart in a parking lot, and someone threw a magnet onto my car saying “I don’t return my cart like a jerk”, I would probably BURST out laughing, before simply returning my cart AND requesting to keep the magnet 😂😂 these guys are fucking LEGENDS
You two need a podcast like yesterday. I beg of you!!! Please!
Yes
If anyone is curious of what sebastian looks like, just look up "cart narcs on Dr. Phil." Yup, he was on Dr. Phil.....just let that sink in.
Dude is a legend.
Thank you! Always wanted to know more about the cart narc guy
You beat me to it lol
I didn’t think I wanted to see what he looks like but now I do. Thx
Ok I just went. Ha! Love it. He’s funny. So
annoying but hilarious. I didn’t picture him to look like that
@@Mama_Bear524 yeah me either....thought he'd be older
This guy has some Ned Flander's level insults. "You big ole lazy-bones"😆
Actually as someone who paints cars, magnets on any paint but perfectly clean will scratch quite a lot
So do stray shopping carts though...
@@paigeconnelly4244 Shopping carts don't cost as much as a car, though.
Ms Lush, you look incredible. Respectfully, you’re glowing!
The cart is a perfect example of;
"The way you do one thing, is the way you do everything."
Flushing toilet is another imo
There was a time in my life when I carefully put the cart in the “between lanes, but then my nephews first job was cart retriever at a grocery story, rain, snow, sunshine, you name it, he retrieved all those carts floating around in the parking lot. Ever since, even if there’s no cart park, I’ll push it back into the store and park it where it goes.
As a former nurse, Mrs. Lush is my spirit animal.......no joke. I love her!!!!!
Thx for being a nurse. I hope you know how you changed lives. Honestly I’ve encountered so many and without them I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through hospital stays.
Really enjoy Mrs. Lush content. Her husband seems really nice too 🙂
Great job! I’m from Romania and I’ve lived in many other European countries but never have I ever seen an abandoned cart stranded in the middle of a parking lot just waiting for the next gush of wind to smash it into the nearest car. Lazy and irresponsible
you are a mother, nurse, co-host, and you look pretty well for someone carrying leon lush on her shoulders. trust this woman keep leon going. much love to you both. these reactions are dope
I’m watching this on break from my Cart Attendant job LMAOO
Please 🙏 do another of these! Love the series and I absolutely love seeing y'all in videos together! 💖. I'm the same way about the carts 😂. I've never related so much to someone until Mrs. Lush says "oh I'll take that back for you so no one's car gets hit". I returned three carts 🛒 at the dollar store. The return was literally 6 ft away.
I have had my car damaged from assholes leaving carts out. The wind catches the cart and sends them flying. It has happened to me and I’ve seen it happen to multiple others. I’m all for this cart narcs stuff
And the thing is, it doesn’t take much wind to set it off flying.
"Whisky, Weedle-eee, Wee, Ooo!" (The Cart Narc Call of the Wild).
Well they’re both almost smiling so it’s an auspicious beginning…let’s goooooooo
She should return their carts, but make it extreme...say something like " I'll take this back for you, so it doesn't injure a child."
I gotta say, I hate couple RUclips. Kelsey and that old guy she hangs out with are good, but mostly, it is forced cringe. But man, you two got a genuine dynamic and it is fun as hell to watch. You two rock that chaotic neutral New England energy. I know it all too well. #CoffeeMilkIsLife
As far as couple RUclips channels go I only really watch this one and EvanandKatelyn cause they are hilarious
Watch Scott Kramer too. Him and his gf/ wife (idr which) are really funny when they do videos together! I'm hoping they will start a couple channel some day too.

Yeah really nice of Kelsey to hang out with this senior. Change of pace from the retirement home.
The messed up part is the same people that leave their carts where they don't belong are the same people that wish for the 'good ol' days'
Mrs. Lush passive aggressive kindness is something I feel on another level
There’s literally a study that says your ability to return carts directly influences the impact you make as a productive member of society.
exactly, it's not the actual carts that matter it's the implied principles one lives by that affect the majority of their life
Mrs Lush reminds me similar of my wife with the cart return thing.
I watched many cart narcs videos recently and there's even one vid where he's catching a moron jer**** off in a dark corner of a parking lot. Let's talk about good manners... lol
@@Reth_Hard why didn’t you completely write out jerk for??? How old are you 5? 😂😂😂
I do that too 😂. Although I’m shy so I’m not loud but I hope they hear me. Jealous of your wife how bold she is. Badass!

I love the third "fake-out"!!! This is so great!
The fakeout is such a good move for real, that puts the shame on you like no other thing
Here in Germany most supermarkets have shopping carts with chained locks connected to the cart in front:
Pushing in a coin (usually 50 Cents to 1€ or plastic ones of the same size) unlocks the hook and you can pull out that cart.
You had all the time when you walked into the store and spent 40 minutes to an hour buying your items and putting your items away yet it takes 1 minute to put a cart back.
the noise of the magnet slap, gets me every time...
Yes, I think killing with kindness is better than what this guy is doing. If he approached me; he'd be SO annoying, I wouldn't take the cart back just to spite him.
This guy is the hero we need.
You two look great! Keep up the good work!

It's such a small thing (putting your cart back) but it actually does say loads about what kind of person you are
I enjoy confrontation so much I purposely leave mine out in hopes someone does this to me

*Me putting my cart back*…. “Can I still have a magnet, sir?” 😂
@@Mama_Bear524 It's a cart story in that someone not only returns their own carts, but even offers to return other people's carts. Yes, strangers can be very nice sometimes 😊. It's nice someone helped you, too!
I have a disability but I don't look like I have one, and when I used to have a permit (before corrective surgery), I'd get people verbally abusing me for parking in a disabled spot, despite my face being on a permit on my car. So despite being in excruciating pain, I was also copping beef for legitimately parking. Be careful who you shame.
As soon as he put a magnet on. You just gotta go and end the encounter. It’s embarrassing enough being caught being a lazy bones
I'm with Mrs. Lush unlocking those core shame memories that come to you again as you're trying to sleep.
As a Texan, I want to confirm that we do indeed greet each other by cocking our guns at each other. It's a long held tradition.
The slap of the magnets is comedy perfected
Hey I just recently found your channels and I will tell you after watching one of each I subscribe to immediately I think Leon you are just one of a kind just a card in your own category and Mrs Lodge you are extraordinary I really enjoy watching
Yes Mrs Lush! I love cart narcs and completely agree too! So satisfying seeing lazy people getting busted ☺️

I feel like he may push it a little to far sometimes, but man is it funny!
There aren’t multiple narcs! It’s one dude who travels the country and is good at accents.
He will get his lazy ass out the car to get the magnet off but won't move the cart
Rain, sleet, or snow I always returned the cart. This man is doing the lord's work.
Always
That’s just honor amongst thieves breh
I appreciate your content !! You both are good together. This one is great lazy Bones on board 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Would disabled people like me or my grandmother count as lazy, since we need the cart to walk and often leave our carts near the disabled parking, but not in the way of a spot? I'm always happy when I see someone has left a cart near a disabled spot, that I can use.
Cart Narcs usually make exceptions for disabled people and the elderly
Look up cart narcs; you’ll see they don’t bother disabled or elderly people; they really only want people to be considerate and respectful
Obviously safety is more important so if you're alone and couldn't get to the corral and back then don't but the space around the disability parking is for wheel chairs.
needed this today , much love Lush fam
I never figured Mrs Lush was a deep-shame enthusiast.
It’s Leon’s kink.
I used to watch cart narcs and still watched this whole episode. Gotta view them here and there again.
I didn't even know that people not returning their cart happened so often that a dude could make an entire youtube chanel out of it, like I never ever even saw 1 cart outside of a "cart return place thingie".
