  • It's April 2000 and i'm in North London, at Wood Green. On this upload we see London Transport MCW Metrobuses at work with Arriva on routes 29, 121, 141, 243, 329 & W3 along with a couple in use as Driver Trainers.     Trivia. If you go back in time from then by the same amount from now to then, you would be back in June 1976. Merlin, Swifts, Metropolitans, Fleet lines and RMs would have abounded. Some garages were getting the early batches of Leyland National deliveries while PMC Sydney were assembling 10.9m Nationals from CKD kits shipped out from Lilyhall.

      And still a few RT's knocking about, the 298s ran to Turnpike Lane in 1976 and Palmers Green still had RT's on the route!

      @@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus 💯 the RT was in it's decade long reprieve wasn't it? How could I overlook that part?
