Dear DJ, is it possible to substitute the black and gray connector pieces? I really like your build but I do not have enough of those pieces.

The pieces on the inside holding it together? I think there is only one other piece that you can use to substitute those pieces, and that would be that 1 by 1 Bricks that have studs on all four sides.
