Went to a place called " the House of 3" there in Stuttgart while stationed close by. I had to deliver a young GI who was missing out on one of life's simple pleasures

wollte fragen ob es schwer ist autofahren in Stuttgart? Wollte von Tuttlingen nach Stuttgart fahren ? Ist das schwer? Kann man sich schnell verfahren? Natürlich will ich mit Navi fahren war noch nie in Stuttgart mit Auto. Kannst du mir vlt sagen auf was ich achten muss usw?
@@xHQ10 Mit Navi ist es heute viel einfacher Orte zu erreichen die man weniger gut kennt. Kommt natürlich immer darauf an, wohin man möchte (und an welchem Wochentag) und ob es Parkmöglichkeiten gibt. Heute parke ich gerne etwas außerhalb und fahre mit der Straßenbahn in die Innenstadt.

Lived in this city for 8 years - never again. First, it isn't beautiful - it's surroundings are as it sits in a valley on three sides; the city itself doesn't have much to see outside a palace, a TV Tower, which most big Germans cities also have, a nice zoo, vineyards and the Porsche/Mercedes Museum if you're a car lover of those two brands - that's about it. It is not an international city, though it pretends to be, but lacks the cosmopolitan atmosphere you'd find in Frankfurt, Munich or Berlin. It's certainly not on anyone's tourist bucket list and is known as the "Detroit" of Germany without the bankruptcy that Detroit struggles with. The city of Ludwigsburg (18 Kilometers north) is very nice with a baroque center and palace. Esslingen (adjacent to Stgt-East) is also nice with an old town center; it's dark stones make the city have a moody feel to it. The gem in the area is Tubingen (40 kilometers south) with it's town center that captivates and is charming.
Stuttgart is industrial, crowded and doesn't rank among Germany's larger cities for Tourism.
Ziemlich Planloses rumgegurke.Stuttgart hat mehr sehenswertes.Aber trotzdem hat das mitfahren Spass gemacht!

Used to live here in the 60's. Sure has changed. Lived in Winterhalde. Was a great place back then. Now... not so sure...
