Cheapest way getting collector skin for 800-900 diamonds is by buying weekly diamond pass and buying cristal of aurora daily boxes u convert weekly diamonds to crystal of aurora and also u need use same techniq that u provided but if you start from zero you will need about 2-3 months of weekly diamond pass and crystal of aurora saving im currently doing this since i dont want to spend anything more than 250diamonds on skins but for one collector i will make exeption and do 850-900

Basically, the crystal of aurora or diamonds you need to get the guaranteed collector skin is;
18 draws so (+10 daily) = 1710
19 - 24 draws (190 x 6) = 1140
25 - 30 draws (250 x 6) = 1500
31 - 36 draws (310 x 6) = 1860
Total is 6210 without the discount
With discount (remember that the collector event is only limited to 21 days)
Draw 16 times on the first day and draw once everyday for the discount.
Day 1: 1355 diamonds/COA
1st draw (50%) of = 10/2 = 5
2nd - 16th draw = 1350
Day 2: 17th draw - 170/2 = 85
Day 3: 18th draw - 180/2 = 90
Day 4: 19th draw - 190/2 = 95
Day 5: 20th draw - 190/2 = 95
Day 6: 21th draw - 190/2 = 95

If you do that, you will spend 4515 diamonds minus the free tickets (465) so you'll need to spend 4050 diamonds or combination with CoA. So I suggest that we should do the method in this video which would help a lot since you'll only need to spend 2965 instead of 4050 since the price is almost doubled. Your choice though if you're willing to do that.
