Brought back a lot of memories. Shenavall was my first time in Scotland when I spent a week with the MBA putting the window in the loch side wall where a door used to lead to a run down annex. Great work and I'm glad to see that Shenavall is still protecting and inspiring others. Now if only I can get back there some day.

Really enjoyed this, brought back many spine tingling memories of stay over night in the bothy and clambering the Travers of an'teallach with the great over to the Fisher fields. The beiginin of a plan to head back there once again has now started ⛰️🏞️🏔️

I played golf a few years ago with an elderly gentleman called Urquhart who lived in this bothy with his family and a teacher. It obviously was a home then. I heard his soft west highland accent and asked him if he was from the west coast since his surname is quite common around the Ullapool area. We had a great chat about Shenevall since I had visited it a few times on my An Teallach adventures and was amazed when he told me it was his family home when he was a small boy.
