- With the death of Sub-Zero's sister Lisa and the vengeful killing of Scorpion's second in command, Peron, the two now mortal enemies face each other for one last time in the show.
The same actor that played as Scorpion in this show also played as Scorpion in the MK movie in 1995 🔥
Chris Casamassa. The guy is a natural at playing this role. He was great at Scorpion in the film as he was here.
I know, he was always as fast as his name sake
He was also in the sequel playing the same character and JJ Perry played Cyrax and Smoke
@@tashadent150 annihilation was different Scorpion actor ,
@@wyldelf2685 JJ Perry played Scorpion in MK2
Watching this as a kid was the most epic fight scene ever!
NO WAY! MK Original Liu Kang vs Reptile is waaay better
after they get knocked down, they get right back up like in the video games which is awesome
this is, without any shadow of a doubt, the best moment of the show.......EVER!
Yes Saaa💯👍🏾💪🏾
Agreed , yes strong quality back then , , before the "" Hanzo - Bi Han"" nonsense , , ,🤔🤔👍
I Liked the episode where Takeda became Scorpion more. But that fight is also cool
I love also Reptile vs Shang Tsung & Kung Lao vs Rain
The end was awesome too
JJ Perry as Sub-zero and Chris Cassamassa as Scorpion...A piece of good fight...
I never thought of seeing two actors who played Scorpion appear together onscreen fighting each other.
@Cutie Eevee 2 Yeah,remember that.
@Cutie Eevee 2 Possible
@Ruby Williams Chris Casamassa played Scorpion in the first live-action Mortal Kombat reprised his role as Scorpion again on Mortal Kombat Conquest and J.J. Perry played Scorpion in Mortal Kombat Annihilation played Sub-Zero on Mortal Kombat Conquest.
the best adaptations of scorpion and subzero .. with the original actors of the movies that was good
Some of the acting was bad on this show but everything else was gold. The music, the sets, the fights, the costumes and the video game references.
Alot better then F'n SF Movie, JESUS!
Well. Not the sfx
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Alijah Kairo instablaster =)
@Darius Aarav Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
love this version of sub zero and scorpion's costumes
Its a classic that cant be beaten
@@krtlkid glad to hear it
Without a doubt, they were supposed to be ninjas or assassins, with minimal attire and weapons, as they progressed they looked like shoguns with full armor.
@@Shaythe glad to hear it
@@Konsker Glad to hear it.
People in the house must be "Shit ninjas are fighting outside stay in the house"
Lol
Jajajajaja
And then they hear angry yell from outside in Chinese: "I'm Lin-Kuei! Not a fucking ninja!"
This show used to air at 11:30 pm every Monday when I was in elementary school. I would stay up late to watch it and my mom would yell it me because I could barely wake up Tuesday morning. Good old memories lol
Same here I remember tell a friend these was the best days of my life something special
Same, evey Monday night, Monday Nitro, The Crow series, then Mortal Kombat series.
I didn't have cable then but fun fact, it also aired on regular TV Saturday night into Sunday morning from 2AM-3AM and I'd stay up every weekend for it lol on CBS 2. On Cable it was on at 11:30 after Wrestling my friend used to tell me that, they put it on super late both times due to the violence.
а у нас по НТВ вечером показывали )
I hated that it came on so late. I couldn’t keep myself awake for nothing. I’d wake up so disappointed in myself lol
That fake kick at 3:00 from scorpio was epic. I always remember that since i was a kid
Shit was definitely cold
ME THREE!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯💣
Oh yeah! 🔥🔥
Ive been determined to this day to learn how to do it
Its not fake
Yo that kick at 3:05 is still one of the smoothest, stylish kicks I've ever seen. Dude really said, "Let me charge this kick right quick" lol. Is there a name for that move?
Thought I was the only one noticed it and found it to be cool
I remember seeing that kick as a little kid...the next time me and my friends started play fighting i did it...i was a fucking legend from that point on lmfao
@@jamesjordan2472 you misspelled cornball
I think I saw this kick in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers also.
long ago when I was practicing jiu-jitsu I saw that same kick done by a student of a martial art called sambo
What's so awesome about this fight is that they recreate some moves from the original games in a seamless, fluid way, without altering the choreography for that single movement. Amazing work.
choreography in this series is phenomenal
Yes it is xD xD
@@RandoLePerson shutup
I have watched all the fights, it is 10 out of 10. I just wished some of the fights were more unbalanced. Like some characters should be vastly superior to others
The fact this fight took place before the movie’s events is awesome.
i recall shang tsung saying
"the deadliest of enemies, but slaves under my power" when you said that
Everyone dies suddenly one episode because the show got cancelled. It’s junk
It would have been great if they ended up this tv show with kung lao’s death by goro
everyone dies because that was in the script not because the show got canceled
@ElementZero the idea was that the elder gods would step in and reverse things
Scorpion be like "to the DEATH", but then he lands some punches and "you're finished" and turns to go away lol
lol
Definitely better than the Annihilation fight, I’ll give it that.
they actually use their MK2 moveset in this
idk about that lmao
@@bluiflip bruh come on. annihilation? better than this? i know the bars low but come on
@Casper Wander it might be nostalgia or my extremely strong disdain for annihilation. the first movie was my favorite movie as a kid. i was obsessed wit MK as a child. and even as a child annihilation pissed me off.
@Casper Wander yes it is
Loved this show I cnt even lie. Wish thld remake it😢
Anything for you lovely ☺, I'll contact Netherrealm or HBO studios lol. 😂
Anything for you lovely ☺, I'll contact Netherrealm or HBO studios lol. 😂
You've seen the legacy series, right?
@@youtubeinception4647 Legacy is in modern times. This is the only attempt on TV, film or video games to show the past, the original kung law.
@@tFighterPilot I get that. I'm just recommending it as a series to give a watch.
Back then Scorpion was the bad guy and Sub-zero the good. Now it's reversed.
Now they’re technically both Sub-Zero 😂
Wasn’t Scorpion an antihero?
they both should be bad guys, like like in original video game. Only good guys were Lui Kang, Sonya, and Rayden
@@weho_brian and Johnny Cage. Neither was necessarily good or bad, they were each following their own agenda. In any case, at least since the second game with the second iteration of the character, Sub-Zero has spent more time being a hero than not, so I’d say that’s pretty established MK lore.
@@Zauriel7 That’s because it’s Kuai Liang as the second Sub-Zero for the rest of the series. Bi-Han was the original, but was later turned into a wraith known as Noob-Saibot.
If subzero & scorpion fought this long & moves like this. MK 2021 film definitely would have gotten more attention
General audiences (not geeks) would fall asleep and/or piss themselves laughing.
There’s more to making a good film than flippy spinny kicks over and over
@@CursedWheelieBin well Cole young didn't do it for me in 2021 movie smh and he definitely didn't need to fight alongside scorpion against subzero. Whoever thought that was ok needs to be fired
@@cameronwillis7070 Scorpion needed help because Sub-Zero is too bad ass. Scorpion only barely killed him in the canon timeline because he kept coming back to life each time Sub-Zero put him down.
@@CursedWheelieBinThat is such a retarded take by showing you have no idea what you're talking about nor what general audiences actually want or like.
If you're going to see a Mortal Kombat film, you should expect awesome fight scenes in regards to good storytelling and characters. It's a martial arts action film.
Funny enough the new movie had a lot of characters but the story was meh, the characters were meh and the fight scenes were meh. And the film got a lukewarm reception while fans complained about the fight scenes.......gee......your point looks even dumber
In my opinion this movie is better than the 2021 version
It was a TV Series, not a movie
1:28 is my favorite part of when both Scorpion and Sub-Zero during the fight went full-on Terminator 2 style fight when they slammed each other on the walls.
This show was underrated I really loved it
Can we all just take a moment and salute the most badass move in choreograph history 1:26!
The back flip throat punch!!!
Immediately into the linebacker tackle transition lol
the jumping kick over the spits was also pretty amazing.
I had to stop and replay that part just to make sure I just watched what I just watched, that shit was amazing.
No
This is my childhood. I was 10 or 11 when this show came out in 98'. Its crazy to think at the time MK had only been around for 6 years and in that 6 years they managed to have games, movies, a live tour, tv shows, toys. I was such a diehard fan then and still am now. This was a good fight for the budget they had at the time.
This is a better fighting scene then all MK 2021 movie fights.
Facts
Hell no
Agreed Nethersuckass has ruined this series in more ways than one. They're money hungry criminals who have no respect for this series or its history which is apparent by there inept servers, retarded new characters & their constant fucking over of players. The only reason I will buy mk 12 is too support the series that has meant so much to me & where I obtained my actual martial arts name from a Japanese Shidoshi. In no way other than buying the game do I support Nethersuckass or their low class inept criminal ways. Anyone who doesn't know or admit how inept they are, has some form of brain deformation cause anyone with eyes can see how horrible they're as a whole. I'm sure some ineptoid is going write something defending them which I will simple say " there is someone with a brain deformation
I love 90s tv vfx. scorpion closes his hand before the snake goes back in completely lol
People really sleep on Conquest. It's easily the best MK live adaption we've had so far.
Maybe bcs of the REALLY 💩 voiceover.
Stuntwork is indeed superb, though.
I agree
@@M0butuI don't think you existed when this was aired
@@rapttortom4826 Think again. I couldn't care less about it, though.
It's not aired on my tv back then the only mortal kombat series i watch are the movie 1st and 2nd and the cartoon one with Kabal kissing some girl

Nice hop there, Scorpion
😂😂😂
I remember renting this as a kid on VHS :D Was totally crazy about everything Mortal Kombat! Good times!
Whjch character was your favourate back then?
@@AquaFan1998 When I was a kid, my favorites were Sub Zero and Scorpion! I remember scene from this series where Sub Zero froze two ninjas and did a spit kick to smash them to piecies. This was more than 20 years ago, have to rewatch this to refresh my memory! :)
@@Brutalexecution my favourate was raiden since he was a cool thundergod and i liked his design and role in the story of mk. second was scorpion due to me liking the whole father loses family and seeks vengence.
you rented this low budget TV series on VHS? Seems unlikely
It was around 2001. Rental place didn't have all the seasons or episodes as far as I can recall.
That combo at 2:56 was just clean
My guy went full Bruce Lee Roy for a moment fr
J.J. Perry ( who is the conquest Sub-Zero) is vile at that point
Who's here to watch a proper fight between Scorpion and Subzero after the disaster of Mortal Kombat (2021)??
I would rate this series over the 2021 movie any day. Whether they were under a spell, like in the 95 movie, or if you were playing one of them in the video game, you can't deny this was one of the best rivalries we've seen.
This didn't even have a 1/10th of the budget that movie had and it's far more entertaining.
Like yea, the acting is suspect, the show is dated and aged and the fight scenes can be sometimes ridiculous........but it's far more entertaining than the dull ass 2021 movie.
It’s sad the TV show had better Costumes and effects than the multi million Dollar sequel
Why they didn’t have Scorpion and Sub-Zero fight in the original 90’s movie is beyond me, but at least we have this.
Because they were under the control of shang tsung
Shang Tsung Controlled them
Part two they did but with a different Sub Zero
These TV-series are cheesy but I love that. I've watched the show multiple times. It's sad that it never got completed.
Maybe someday they will remake it ... someday
@@amitkenan3878 I doubt it, it's different times already.
Amit Kenan I think Paulo who plays Kung Lao dosent even act no more from what I could see on the internet which is a shame
@@jakeoakes2958 Last movie Paulo played in that I saw was Tekken.
@@jevonsims900 tekken has its own movie ? completely forgot about that man lol
0:47 that jump! Very ninjistic. 🤣
Never forgot that kick at 3:05, grabs his leg on the round house pauses then hits him with it. Great fight, cheesy acting. Bad ass move.
That Question Mark Kick is legit one of the coolest kicks ever.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is how you do a Scorpion vs Sub Zero fight. Why? 1. The fight was about evenly matched between the two characters and ended in a draw. 2. This fight had better choreography/fighting skill than the MK 2021 fight. The MK 2021 fight was mostly CGI. 3. This fight was slightly longer than the MK 2021 fight. Bottom line, this is the best live action MK Sub-zero vs Scorpion fight.
In Conquest the fight is better when they allow the martial artists to shine instead of forcing the “special” effects....
that being said both sub vs scorpion fights in the 2021 film are better because there is a very strong narrative backing it up (unlike every other fight in the movie)....
hell sub vs scorpion bookending the film is what saves it from being a full catastrophe
Nah, this is joke. Their fight like kids spare in some karate dojo. We need fight scene for life that's why recent martial arts movies more better than 80's and 90's.
@@natadecoco5938 lol you must been born in the 200s.
@@natadecoco5938 so, you see this a kids fight? Maybe go try some Martial arts for some time and you realize that this is the real deal. Not the recent films with so many cuts in fight scenes.
@@thedeathwatcher6571 hongkong studio have alot great martial arts movies to compared with this, i know why you're guys said this more better than new MK movie cause there is to much cut than the old one but for intens coreo i prefer new MK.
In fairness, we finally got to see Sub-Zero & Scorpion fight it out in a battle that was much better than what we saw in 'Mortal Kombat: Annihilation'...
I miss this show. I don't know why they don't do another show like this.
Money, finding people are good martial arts without a stunt double doing the fighting scenes and locationx5
Better fight scenes in this then MK2021
In your dream
@@natadecoco5938 new MK movie had so many cuts in it's fight scenes. At least this show brought actual martial artists and didn't do any cuts like the new one. Every fight of this show was fun to watch while the new movie had Scorpion vs Sub-Zero which is a shame why the didn't to other fight scenes like that.
@@thedeathwatcher6571 i agree with you for the cut scene problem but i still see they do a lot great coreo not like this one, this is a joke martial arts scene not intens like the new one.
@@thedeathwatcher6571 MK21 has better choreography, also most of the actors were actual martial artist, Bi Han's actor was a judo champion.
@@zm3375 how is it better when it's full of cuts? Just watch Sonya vs Mileena, you can see what I mean. Also most of the 95 were Martial artists too. Robin Shou, Chris Cassamassa, Keith Cooke, Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa...
0:47 Jump 😆😆😆
So cute 😊
I thought it was really cool how well the guy playing Scorpion mimicked the character's moves from the 1995 movie... turns out it's the same guy playing both (Chris Casamassa).
This was a highlight in my childhood, so many memories...
the acting, the fights, the music, seems like Power Rangers but just darker.
3:53 Yep, Sub-Zero loves this Batman thing. (He does it in MK Annihilation as well).
That beginning when sub zero walks in, this is why MK was badass.
That hold the leg kick 3:04 was nasty work 🔥🔥🔥
That kick 3:05 😏👌🏾
Lol, right
Dude that double kick at 2:58 was sick too
Damn why can't fight scene today in movies be this epic I mean in some films but not many shame this series didn't more seasons it was so good.
1:27 It just devolves into a bar brawl. Forget skill and technique, these two utterly loath each other.
Or a T-2 style brawl.
I might be in the minority but Mortal Kombat: Conquest was underrated.
I loved how after Sub-Zero said "This Battle is between us now" Scorpion replies "To the Death" It's like ummmmm well Scorpion technically you're already Dead..... Lmao
Right so I guess he’ll take that bet haha
No... this is Takeda. Not Hanzo. This Scorpion is not a specter.
Hold tf up did he just slingshot his own leg during the kick at 3:05!? I ain’t never seen no disrespectful shit like that before, mad creative

I don't know if anyone noticed but did Scorpion really flick his foot and kick Sub Zero in the face? 😆😆
Yea saw that shit that was cold blooded what he did I seen that move before from another fighter
@@cjaymcswain7057 It's actually used in real life. By some fighters in the UFC in fact. It's commonly referred to as the "Question Mark Kick."
@@handzofstone1152 Without grabbing their leg before the release though - that would leave them too vulnerable and you don't even get that much power out of it, assuming it even lands. Of course, it could result in a KO though, but is extremely far from practical. The one used in UFC is great because it works as a feinted body kick, just before snapping it into a head kick. Highly effective.
The Question mark kick. Holly Holmes did that to a brazilian opponent. Great lick to confuse enemy
Whos here after the mortal kombat 2021 trailer?
I am guilty as charged lol
Me too
Yeah and I just watched the 2021 movie, it sucks big time, felt like a parody.
@@Just_a_Lad yeah some parts were alright but the story itself felt rushed and clichy. And before the 'its a video game movie what do you expect' people show up...the fights were really good but idk there was just something missing
They broke so many walls and pillars that I was waiting for part of the building to collapse, lol
0:47....that little hop cracks me up everytime
Prefer this fight than the 2021 fight
Kwai Liang Vs Hanzo Hasashi.. the greatest rivalry in MK history. Was cool finally seeing Scorpion and Sub Zero finally fighting side by side instead of against each other tho.
This isn't Kwai Liang, it's much more likely to be Bi-Han.
Take the dialogue out of the equation but this is a much better fight scene than the final fight of the new MK movie!
"Battle to the death" - sad Scorpion. Also Scorpion after one nice kick: "You finished" - and goes away
You couldn’t get more 90s than this.
Still a better love story then Twilight!
3:04 so creative kick
Indeed
Why in my 27 years of life am I just seeing this
@0:47 wtf was that jump Scorpio? 🤣🤣
Scorpion (Fire) 🔥 Sub Zero (Ice 🧊)
What ever happened to Sub Zero, Scorpion and Smoke we never got to see what happened to them.
@@RandoLePerson And I took that personally
@@RandoLePerson for your knowledge this show happens during the Great Kung Lao era, and this Sub-Zero is the grandfather of Bi-Han and Kuai Liang. So, this version of Smoke was going to be very different. Plus, Smoke has a fine story already.
@@thedeathwatcher6571 I kinda figured it was the grandfather of bi han and kaui liang because the great kung lao was there. Some things in this show are just confusing but im just like the mk ninja costumes and fight scenes that they do
3:04 l love this kick
I find it fucking hilarious how the 2 ninjas that randomly entered at 3:29 just gtfo at 3:39 when they see the main characters and they immediately think of their asses getting whooped.
Who’s here after MK21 movie ?
2:45 the only uppercut to be featured in MK live action.
2:37 Scorpion... I know you're angry, but don't attack the cameraman.
Bro.... That kick at 3:04 where he holds his foot. That's one of the coldest kicks I've ever seen.
This blew me away as a Kid.
If CW ever makes MK vs. DC it should be this Universe vs. the Arrowverse.
It would be a massacre.
3:47 SCORPIOOOON!!!
03:42 when you and your gf have only 5mins before her parents return
Liu kang vs shao kahn: “Wow this fight is great!”
Scorpion vs Sub zero: “THE MOST BEST FIGHT SCENE EVER”
I love how the spin kick at 1:37 he flinched the wrong way lol. Still badass fight tho
2:38 he clearly saw him moved, still goes for the kick 🤣!!!!
A reference to the games
what these masks were made of. Foam? Rubber? or plastic?
Fighting movements and musical accompaniment are in my heart.
Did you see one Sub-Zero did that backflip and punch scorpion on The Conquest Final Fade
oh ok I haven't seen this for years .. I'm a fan of the mortal kombat saga .. I remember seeing this series between the late 90s and early 2000s .. along with the first movie this series was the most faithful adaptation ever the video game was very good I liked it a lot it lacked fatalities even so very good
There were plenty of fatalities in the first movie. They were just changed from the actual game.
0:48 Come on man , couldnt you just edit the video better before that Jump hahah. That show was so dopee anyway, the fight scenes and stunts were better than most of the movies we have today, Not gonna lie.
Subzero vs scorpion (show)was more entertaining then MK 2021 film
Amazing how a TV show is better than the second contribution to the first 2 films.
HBO should make an MK show, the story of MK is best suited in a serialized format. Love this show
The 2 actors who portrayed Scorpion 🦂 and Sub Zero pull those moves off flawlessly.
#ItHasBegun
met Chris Cassamassa once. Very intense but funny guy
Damn ive watched this as a teen and it was my favorite scene i was like waiting all series and movies to have the classic Sub Zero VS Scorpion fight, back at the time gave me really goosebumps...

The way Scorpion fell after that roundhouse kick after 2:58 gets me every time
I came here for this scene @3:04. Still pretty cool til this day.
Desde que vi está serie en la televisión hace muchos años me gustó la trama recordando las peleas geniales, mortal kombat sin duda siempre gustará quien lo vea.
