Junior Doctor Strikes and Protesting in Drag || An Odd Week in the Life of a Student Doctor (49)

Well this was certainly a strange week - but a very very good one!
I’m so glad I actually did what I was told (for once😅) and took a couple of days to myself to decompress a little. It’s been one hell of a busy time lately, and I really needed to flop for a few hours.
I think I’m just about adjusted to the sertraline now, although it’ll still take a couple more weeks for it to start properly taking effect, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed! The irony of starting antidepressants while on my psychiatric rotation isn’t lost on me…
Also, I’m super glad I made the effort to go and protest in full drag at the weekend! I had a wonderful time partying to drown out the horrendous sound of bigots 🥰
