If you enjoyed the guide, I would appreciate a sub 🙏 we're about to hit 1500 subs soon. And also, building a team for specific content is basically what I do for all my showcases, and it's the thought process I go through when trying to make a unit do their best.
@@BoredInTheComments no i get that, and that's totally fine. What I was talking about is, I'm in a fairly big GS community and new players (and not only them) rarely ask about stage mechanics, their go to question is "what's a good team with the units i have?" and I'm like sure, i can tell you a team that will get you through the first 9 story chapters and a couple of old luck units, then what? if you want to approach even mildly difficult content you have to consider how your unit's strengths match up against the boss' abilities, especially if you have a limited pool of units
That said, many of them get it after you explain it, but some people just can't bother to think for 20 seconds before going into a stage with the worst possible combination of units
@Jehen_ I understand. There's probably a good bit of people who have never played strategically before, so I'm sure they need a shove in the right direction. I started gs during re zero and caught onto the stage mechanics pretty quickly. Unfortunately, catching on is half of the solution, lol. I'm stuck at the end of chapter 7 right now just because my units can't get through Zeorg and Fen. Although I did just pull War Hero Fen, and once I ascend him, I'm pretty sure I'll roll through that level.
Definitely learned something lmao also well made video! Side comment how do you find out boss or fight mechanics? I find some fights I have no idea whats going on i.e not doing dmg or seeing icons i don’t recognize… either the game dose a poor job at showing or I’m blind
I'm glad you learned something haha. For the newer summoners road, they show the mechanics in the stage info part. But for older bosses, it'll show what they do either at the start or at certain checkpoints throughout the battle. So you needed to play through it multiple times just to find out what they do. Some bosses might not show anything, but as for icons, those just need to be learned over time, although, that is an interesting idea for a video. 🙏
I’ve always wanted to build a team around shuri with wgf, hart, and mako. But I don’t have mako. Just spam all 3 support units normal art and true arts and spam shuri true art. Would definitely deal insane dmg in raids.
Haha, mako isn't that needed lmao, she's good, but lots of other units can do some of what she does. And with the new meta in jp, she actually loses a bit of her value tbh.
This was a great video - I learned a lot - I have WH Fen - and just pulled Regular Fen (lol) - I have other characters such as Sanstone, Simon (awoken), Shaltear, - would I be able to use WH Fen as an Art Gen or regular Fen? Sorry if this is a silly question as I am still learning a lot about this game.
No worries, I'd almost always use whfen instead of regular fen, unless the stage negates crit. He gives a lot more to the team, and is just a better unit overall. Be sure to lmk if you have other questions, ik it's hard to learn everything at the start, so no worries :)
@@SantinoGrandSummoners Thanks! I appreciate it - I have next to no clue at times LOL - Like I use Rayas (for the luck bonus as he has the highest) with WH FEN, Shal and Sanstone - I think I just need more time to get some more characters.
You want to bring a capable taunt tank like Thetis or evultee, an artsgen, dps, and dmg res unit. So artsgen emp works, Cestina/ fitoria, and mako/ wgfen.
You would just need to replace the roles of the units, so instead of a strong artgen like mako or hart, use another like Norn or fen, or instead of Mikey as a dps, use whichever dps you have.
Depends, he's not the greatest tank, although with another unit like Cestina or fitoria, you could do him on some harder stages like maybe Vitz or Ganan if you really tired 😂
@Jehen_ I know, I'm joking about you rarely see him used out side of mono water since Draken exists and gs decided to put them in the same artgen type for some reason.
@@donovanhadley2209 I mean they're both collaboration units so naturally they would be in the same arts generation type. Though, I do not think Mitsuya is strictly limited mono water as you have stated. I've seen him quite a number of times. Though I guess it's up to a player to determine their opinion of a unit, I suppose. By the way, are you summoning for Overlord? (With crystals, to be specific)

A Very Straightforward Guide. I definitely learned something from this.
New or old player, there is always something new you'll learn.
Perfect Guide 👍
Thanks a lot haha
Yes, say it louder please. Team comps depend on the stage. So many new players have a hard time understanding this
It's not that they don't get it, it's that there's no way for them to have enough units to cater to the different stages.
Good point haha, that's why meta units that are flexible are so important lol

I got War God Fen the day he came out(somehow with only 5 summons) and now I can't use a team without him.
Haha I get that lmao

Yeah for sure, that team is really strong. You can also work without mako, just depends who you have in your box. 👍
The only thing I learned is that I still don't have mako😢, it was still a good video

Any Chole tips?
You want to bring a capable taunt tank like Thetis or evultee, an artsgen, dps, and dmg res unit. So artsgen emp works, Cestina/ fitoria, and mako/ wgfen.
What about a compo for beginners couse all your team build looks for experienced people
You would just need to replace the roles of the units, so instead of a strong artgen like mako or hart, use another like Norn or fen, or instead of Mikey as a dps, use whichever dps you have.
And what if we are generally unlucky and lack any staple unit like the ones listed here? 😅
It would depend on your box, but try to use similar units with similar roles.
Ya then how you get mako et,c?
She's from the kill la kill crossover
Yep definitely not gonna have it
I womder.., is there anime of grand summoner?
I don't think so haha, the trailer was a one time thing lol
Excuse me sir, when can i use Eagle?!
Depends, he's not the greatest tank, although with another unit like Cestina or fitoria, you could do him on some harder stages like maybe Vitz or Ganan if you really tired 😂
@@SantinoGrandSummoners but I want Eagle to solo!!!
Wait, people actually use Mitsuya? "I thought you were kidding."

team building need UNITS.
Unfortunately 😭
I literally have most of the best art geners but missed out on whf 😢
I missed out on Mako so it's harder for me to use my Emperor with his health drain.
