This hand crafted oak creation provides a top that is organic and alive. Due to the individual nature of plants on earth, each turning of the lathe creates a squib that is completely unique in feel and weight while still carrying through the core attributes of the design. In general this top is light and nimble. Using wood allows us to disperse the weight more vastly while leaning into the centre. This creates for a very floaty and bouncy feel and encourages precision in finesse in execution. The squib can certainly be a huge influence in smoothening out your style and exploring an natural and rhythmic spectrum of string movements.
