I've been really appreciative of the addition of timestamps to the videos, lol I didnt think you would actually take the suggestion seriously, but thank you. In addition, I wanted to thank you for another detailed breakdown and analysis, they are incredibly helpful when trying to determine which heroes to invest time into.
PSA: Use Bobby's ridiculous event buff for the Elminster A Tale of Two Champions variant while you have the chance. With 50 ilvls and the event feat he pumps 300e DPS by himself, can hit stage 825 solo. Adding Valentine makes it 500e-ish. Same goes most of the other extremely restrictive Elminster (and Mirt) variants if they've been giving you trouble; limited time cheat code available.
Thank you for explaining the math behind the game again. Which I still can't follow. But hey, the game got nice colorful graphics and funny champions, that is all I need for an relaxing calm down game. I was waiting for the video to come online because this time I was really uncertain which flex champions are good. It seems none of them are. 😄
😂Well at least at the end of the day you can live by the rule of Multiplicative > Additive, and Prestack > Poststack. Or just enjoy those colorful graphics and funny characters.
I'd probably pick up at least Egbert this event since he is a meta gold champion. Certainty's ult is also useful for Azaka farming, and Corazon is generally useless but at least scales Egbert's gold find. So, yeah, not a great selection for flex this event.
With Bobbys T4 event buff is boosting Now We're Talking by 6300%, so instead of 2^20 it's 64^20, at the front of the pre-stack chain. Then you take Group Charge spec, and combine with with either Valentine or Warduke (who's been on the cartoon, as a side note) and thus Bobby gets buffed from Charge Into Battle AND Group Charge, separately. My e500 push team just bumped up to e900 Bobby at i300ish
I do feel like that both have the potential to change. I don't believe they intended the T4 Now We're Talking buff to be pre-stack, and Bobby buffing himself with Group Charge with Val is very reminiscent of how Nova used to work, which they eventually removed because mechanics like that are unintended. So, likely not intended either. Only time will tell though!
With all the recent champion releases, the game feels so much more comfortable. At the same time, CNE gives off the vibe that they stopped caring about balance. I don't really want to complain, but take Ellywick for example. She is so way over the top good for gem farming, it almost feels like as if CNE accidently overbuffed her gem farming. I remember having to save up for the 500k gem modron core for over a month when I was still fresh to the game. Farming 500k gems felt like an enourmous achievement, though admittedly I didn't have 4 gem farming teams running all the time back then. Nowadays I just leave IC running in the background and watch Ellywick netting me 200-300k+ gems per day with auto resets. It all depends on how lucky her card draw turns out to be. Just before Bobbys release, I had saved up 2 million gems in just like 1-2 week and burned through them. Feels good, but still questioning whether CNE is going to nerf Ellywick down the road or not (hopefully not!). At this point I wouldn't be surprised, if CNE released some blacksmithing champion, who gets 3 legendary blacksmithing contracts per day (starting with 100) or if they change Vin Ursa post release to make her drop purple bounty contracts +5 per day. Again I am not complaining but just wondering if CNE gave up on the game (especially after hearing about them releasing some workers) or if they finally thought that long time players would love optimization for farming. Also as always good job Tyredack!
We have really been getting power spikes lately, both in buffing numbers and gems for sure. Ellywick is wild once they ironed her out. I really don't think they'll nerf her, but I kind of suspect we might see a big halt on speed/gem Champions for a while, but you never know! It will be interesting to see what the future SMS Scavenging will be, might just be those smithing contracts.
For those curious, I'm pretty sure Stoki is being reworked in December as per the latest Roadmap stream. I'm planning on waiting to unlock her until then.
There is also a point to be made that you *do* unlock her now because anything you earn for her now can be dismantled *then* and you get all of those ilvls back for whoever you want.
@@tyredack True, everytime they announce a new hero to an affiliation that works with another full affiliation, I'm crossing my fingers like, "Don't overlap. Don't overlap. Don't overlap." I was so miffed when that happened, not once, but twice, between Awful Ones & Absolute Adversaries with Antrius/Karlach & Nixie/Gale.
I'm hoping Hank as a main DPS and Bobby's sister Shella abillity that turns him Tank like Minsc. Eric will be another Tank for sure with probable buff vs dragons, no healers in sight, i think Bobby should Tank and pass on dps's to Hank. For synergy i expect Aerois teamates for their age to go as well as absolute adverse for their low stat scores.
It will be interesting to see how they're all going to work together for sure. Just really hope there is *something* that brings them together with some actual synergy. As they are now, it's not that they *don't* go together, but there's also no real reason to put them together.
Bobby gets some great numbers and scales really well with item levels. People who use Artemis but aren't hitting 2k in events or campaigns can almost certainly pump their numbers by swapping him and Zorbu. I'm probably gonna give him Torogar's legendaries during the anniversary celebration. He also let me beat One Spelljammer at a Time and Glory to Glorium for Elminster pretty handily. We're starting to get some really inflated numbers these last few events which is kind of concerning. Hopefully things don't go too crazy.
Sometimes the formation ability will say "increases the pre-stack," but a lot of the time you just have to look for yourself whether increases are affecting a post stack buff or the base number directly. It would be nice if they made sure to note every pre-stack in the formation ability description.
You'd assume that Hank is going to be the dedicated DPS, considering how much Bobby gets impacted by the formation shape. Looking forward to eventually seeing Eric though, that guy was my favourite even though he was meant to be the butt monkey of the team
I'm really curious to see how they all work together once we finally have them all. I hope they end up going together really well. They need some hard synergy to bring them all together.
I expect that if they have a pull-in character it'll be Rick because of his leadership. I could also see Sheila sneaking somebody in, but I think that would be a stretch.
I cannot seem to get the same 6400% buff of Now We're Talking as at 9:32. For me it's still at 100% -> the total bonus is only e09, not e38. I have approximately the same iLvls and all shinies, and I am using the same feats with the 4/4 event buff. Is something bugged here?
It looks like they fixed it to be a post-stack buff now (the tier 4 buff), which is what I expected they intended. That's why I gave the disclaimer text for that period because it was over inflated because it was applying to the pre-stack.
It's kind of funny, seeing an already reworked champion (D'Hani) in the "meh" category for event picks. Not saying you're wrong but it does seem to imply that they were slaking a bit on his rework, either that or it just wasn't a great character concept to begin with.
This larger problem with D'hani specifically is that she's a DPS competing with a lot of better options in that department. Hard to recommend her with Artemis and Durge out there.
That is for sure something I'm working on ironing out. Whether I make a website for my Tier Lists so you can hover over the faces or just a text-based tier list also on the google doc.
@@tyredack is there a link to the GDoc for reviewing it? I feel like, if I could at least see it outside a paused video or screenshot, maybe I could start to make sense of them. 😂
Honestly, I wish they did one of these events were they just did all the least used heroes, as they are the ones I don't have geared in full purples and I cbf wasting time with time gates getting it lol.
At least *eventually* you'll get to them. This game is kinda one you need to dedicate time to get anywhere anyway. But I feel ya. Your best bet is Patron Chests in the meantime, since any epic you get is prioritized to go to someone who doesn't have an epic yet.
Sometimes they will spell out that item levels will affect the pre-stack. But sometimes, you just need to see what those item levels are boosting. Whether it's a post-stack, or if it's is directly buffing the pre-stack.
I'm just wondering what's left to scavenge for the other three...we've got Strongheart with Event Tokens, Presto with Modron components, Diana with Electrum Chests, Bobby with Scales...I assume gems and corrupted gems will be in the mix...Surely not Time Gate Pieces, right?
Corrupted Gems for sure. They keep talking about a new Alchemy mechanic to tie into potions, so maybe something for that once it's introduced. Then there is like you said Time Gate Pieces, but also potentially contracts of some kind.
Are you sure you're not taking his personal DPS specialization? If you're taking him his support route Artemis should still be Observing it at a higher rate.
@@tyredack the most cartoon-accurate version of Eric would have a kit similar to Miria, where he prefers to be in the back, but can deflect a killing blow to anyone.
So you think Stoki, Farideh, or Corazon is most likely to be the reworked champion next time around eh... Ugh. I hate this. Hopefully it isn't Farideh. I have 3/6 shinies on her. Gonna work on D'hani which is 1/6
Well, if you'd really like to know, I'd direct you to the spoiler page. I can neither confirm nor deny that one of those names may or may not now be on the schedule for a rework... 🤔
