Read about Jesus’ work and person in the gospel. Read all of OT and BT to know the contexts in which these passages speak in. Most importantly, Pray for conviction and understanding.

The Churches destiny as with the Catholic Church is " not even the gates of hell will prevail and that Truth has held up over 2000 years! No Worries !

The Catholic church doesn't teach the true gospel. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. No sacraments or works add to salvation. No purgatory. Don't count on their teaching for salvation.

@@mikemccormick9667 Of course the Catholic Church teaches the true Gospel. Everything taught is explicitly or implicitly found in the Bible , all 73 Books.
"We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone".
Your quote above is contextually inaccurate and never understood by the early catholic Church or todays catholic Church.
      Simply Protestant doctrine inserting "alone"
We are saved initially by grace through faith in Christ.
      Ephesians @;8-10
"8 For by grace( alone?) you have been saved through faith (alone?); and this is not your own doing(alone?), it is the gift of God (alone?)- 9 not because of works(alone?), lest any man should boast(alone?). 10 For we are his workmanship (alone?), created in Christ Jesus for good works(alone?), which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them(alone?).
Of course the " alone " was inserted by Protestant reasoning
Salvation is undoubtedly a gift from God, which we cannot earn.
And yet we have to accept or reject that gift.
St. Paul is speaking here of initial justification and reminding us that we cannot earn salvation.
And yet we still have to accept that gift by our free-will choices and persevere in possessing it, i.e., abiding in right relationship with Jesus (John 6:55-56; 15:1-11).
      Please don't count on

The Council of Trent state's that no one is saved by grace alone. If anyone teaches that let them be anathema. They did this because Martin Luther called out the hipocrasy of the church.

@@jgood3047 I left the Catholic church a few years ago. I had the miracle of being baptized in the Holy Spirit a couple years ago. I couldn't reject it if I tried. Which I certainly wouldn't. I know I am sealed by this gift. Letting the Spirit work on my sanctification. If I die today I will be in heaven. How long do you have to wait in purgatory to be good enough?

@@mikemccormick9667 "The Council of Trent state's that no one is saved by grace alone. "
Cleary you haven't studied the Council of Trent if thats all you and other Protestant get from that very important Council meeting of the Church.
Of course it fits the Protestant narrative today as it did then. Germany had already make up it political mind to split from the Church , the Council addressed that nature explicitly and throughly.
And poor Martin Luther , A Catholic Monk who's troubled scrupulous nature was use and cast aside by the likes of Calvin and others to promote their own "alone" theology . What a mess!
