For 6 years I sat next to Mr. Feuerstein every Shabbos in shul in Brookline and never knew the full extent of his story--I wish I had. He was such a nice man and a real mench. יהי זכרו ברוך.
Love this story. I was fortunate enough to meet Mr Feuerstein and have a discussion with him and his wife in 2008. He took a genuine interest in me and I count it as the greatest man by far that I have ever met in my life.
I’m in tears with nachas for this beautiful man. What could be more wonderful than to see a Jew be so loving towards the people who work for the company his family started. B’h
Rav Yoel , I watch all your videos . We share the same rebbeim. But this story totally " BLOWS " My mind I can't believe what a giant this man was . Like rav shlomo carlebach A" H " would say " Gevald did he know there was a God " thank you so much for this video. They should play this video during Mussar seder in Yeshivos. It doesn't get any more real then this. Ty
Watta truly beautiful and inspiring story. This is the true meaning of life. Being kind, helpful and generous towards others instead of being selfish. Thank you so much for sharing this incredibly special message. May you continue going from strength to strength.
Hello Mua how are you doing today?....He is Simply Brilliant! May there be many more like him to come to shine and light our way...hope you are enjoying the show?
I've heard the story about this giant in our generation - an individual who would have been considered a giant in every generation. However, to hear him tell the story was so emotional, poignant, and awe inspiring. The personification of Kiddush Hashem!!
What an inspiring story of someone considered to be not only a Mentsch but also a Great Malach. He was wonderfully made. Bless his mum and his ancestors because he remembered all those people who would have been on the breadline with their families, dependents and others to feed. May God Bless him as he made sure to mention the Divine Objective to spread Torah, How great..
Wow! What a mentsch! His parents taught him well. Chazal say some acquire their olam haba (world-to-come) through one meritorious act. In his case, he wasn't just a mentsch. He was a malach! May his actions inspire each one of us to always be sensitive to others, and in so doing bring us that much closer to bringing Moshiach. May his memory be for a blessing.
Yoel, thank you for allowing me to learn about Mr. Aaron and his great deeds. As an aspiring entrepreneur, and a God fearing Israelite, his Legacy from now on will be my legacy. This great man has shown me the way. God sent you to him at this time. May the God of Israel keep his soul close to Him. Truly a role model for the Nation of Israel, and for all human beings. "Where there is no Man - be a Man."
Yes, I totally agree, Shoshana! Mr. Feuerstein's life was a total Kiddush Hashem and I'm thankful to have learned about him!! May his name be for a blessing always!!
It would move me to tears, losing all that money, closing the business and putting all those people out of work instead of doing what every smart person did in this business: Sending all manufacturing to the far east.
Hello Sara how are you doing today?.....He is Simply Brilliant! May there be many more like him to come to shine and light our way....hope you are enjoying the show?
I watched this video on Tisha Ba'av and when I saw this clip, I had to watch it again. I was crying like a baby both times. This is such a beautiful message. It really touched my soul. He was such a giant of a man! Eizeh Hu Gibor? Hakoveish es yisro. Mr. Feurestein was true gibor, it takes real strength to make such a decision. And the fact that he didn't regret his decision after he went bankrupt was even more mind blowing. Thank you Rabbi Gold for this incredible, uplifting and heart warming video.
Reb Yoel you are amazing! Very touching and inspiring! Hope you will publish the full interview one day… seems like every word that comes out of his mouth is pure and genuine and must listen to material. This will no doubt elevate his Neshama in the higher worlds.
Remarkable man, remarkable story. Some comment on the bankruptcy later; every business has a lifespan just like people. Very few last more than a couple generations. He was a mensch; he did good. He employed thousands of people and looked after them. He was a great man. Period.
The parents of yesteryear put their all into raising their children, both by example and by loving tutilage. Unlike the now generation that are raised by electronics, parental absenteeism and noninvolvement. This clip just amplifies all that we lost. Perhaps there will return a time when such parents will rise again and raise sons and daughters with such high and beautiful Torah standards!
The generational difference, is not because of electronics specifically, but because of all the left wing, anti G-d, anti traditional family, indoctrination in schools, the media, and from political leaders.
God will honor those who honors Him and will restore them some 7 folds some 100 folds, my prayer for Kiddush Hashem🙏🏾
For 6 years I sat next to Mr. Feuerstein every Shabbos in shul in Brookline and never knew the full extent of his story--I wish I had. He was such a nice man and a real mench. יהי זכרו ברוך.
