I think your style would really suit an old Victorian sand style house. They always have beautiful grand hallways that you can walk right through to the kitchen from. My mum bought a detached one for a really low offer & got it! It needed a lotttt of work done to but it turned out so nice! Something like that would be perfect for a project in the future maybe x🥰

You can definitely do the floors yourself if you watch some RUclips videos!! It’s super easy and my dad and I have done multiple rooms ourselves and it looks great!

Then maybe the half paneling in white to match. I like the picture frame idea up the stairs in the first picture.
Super random but how is Freddy when you leave him home alone? I work from home so am with my puppy Russell all the time, and starting to try to leave him on his own and he just howls 🙈
he’s sooo much better now, but to begin with it was really hard. we got a trainer in and all sorts but in the end it was literally just a case of leaving him and increasing the time, so we started at 20/30 mins, then did an hour one day, now we’re up to about 4 hours and he has full roam of the house so just sleeps upstairs! it takes time but he’ll get there! you just have to keep doing it otherwise their separation anxiety gets worse🥰

I did laminate flooring myself or should i say attempted and it was a mess and i had to buy more flooring and then pay someone so I wouldnt reccomend!!
Love watching your renovations! I just put in laminate throughout my house myself. It wasn’t too difficult but if I could do it over again, I would 100% opt for vinyl instead because you don’t need a saw, it’s less physically demanding, and would have probably taken half the time. I do really love how it came out though, so I would still say it was worth it. Good luck!

we removed our hallway radiator. it only got in the way & we never used it anyway! so i say go for it lol. this is defo the time of year you’d be able to realise if you actually need it or not as well ❄️
