I have this and while it's noisy it's amazing for the price I paid (less then 5 USD). It automutes after a second when playback is stopped but you can still hear the noise in this 1 second.

Yes that will work fine with this amplifier
Is the sound good when using the mini plug input? Some people complained that the treble is lost when using this input.
I haven't tested it but the sound will be somewhat changed because the aux input is converted to digital and back by the jieli chip responsible for audio decoding and things like that. The 3.5mm input does not go directly to the amplifier chip, but is processed before it goes there. I will test it when I get the chance, currently I have this amplifier in storage for later use in a project.

Yes i found the same thing. This issue has been reported on ASR. So apparently, the ap3050d chip with no tone controls has an issue with the aux input where the highs are rolled off but the amp with tone controls has had this issue fixed. Now, the amp with tone controls also features the 3116 with output inductors instead of the ap3050d, so I wonder if it is the chip or the tone controls which fix the issue. This amp has the 3116 with the inductors as you can see in the video. Let’s see if someone can bring more info on this issue.

Different outputs and different chips, ZK/MT-21 are 2.1, 502 are 2.0 etc, search up wuzhi and see what comes up

I used my bench power supply to power it with a DC jack cable connected to it. You can see what it looks like here ruclips.net/video/HuNFb2j2W9g/видео.html The model of the power supply is xys3580, I use it for testing things but not for powering things full time.

I'm using an (obsolete) 19V HP Notebook charger that comes with a matching connector. As (as far as I remember), the device is able to handle up to 24V, so it delivers enough OMPH. It’s connected to a pair of B&O speakers and I’m using it for Amazon video sessions. Nice

They both use the same amplifier chips but the TB21 has additional components to support the chips, such as more inductors to filter the output.
I wonder why don’t they make a real box for it
Thats why its called DIY..And its cheap..A complete set with real box will make it pricier..

You should do a review on this amp. Would you say it's a good value?
I'd say it is very good value if what's most important is the connectivity and power output. It's very clearly not something for audiophiles but it meets all of my expectations for the price, and I think it's perfect for home theatre stuff.

It will work but you won't get the peak power output, it may distort at high volume.

Can you please share the link of the power supply you used? I am having hard time finding good power supply for these amplifier boards.
In this video I used a variable "lab" power supply (xys3580) which I only use for testing, ideally you would use a proper purpose-built DC power supply. Something like this would work fine www.amazon.co.uk/DTK-Charger-90-240V-Switching-Transformers/dp/B07K85GJ54/
