@@OvalDrive certainly do for me , Dad used to take me and my big brother to Hackney and crayford and to Wembley when a big meeting was on , His cousin was Les Mcgillvary, he rode for Rayleigh, poole and Hackney back in the 60's , dont know if you've heard of him? My dad used to do cycle speedway in the 50's with Terry Stone .
Yes definitely methonal and Castrol R the burning smell, not the same now, with new synthetic oils, and we have noise pollution, they sound like 50cc they have taken the roar out of the bikes, if it's not broken dont fix it, and I have a great friend and neighbour former speedway rider Garry stead, steady as ya go🏁🏁🏁👍

Yes I seen Les riding, my stomping grounds were West Ham and Hackney.
