    The DRC sits on top of the worlds largest cobalt reserves. They produce 80% of the cobalt used in smart phones tablets computers and electric cars. It’s obscene that they are starving. The Chinese are the buyers of that cobalt at bargain basement prices. They have an absolute obligation to help those people considering the profits they rip out of that country. There is a absolutely no reason a country this riches in resources should be this desperate.

    • @davidhamilton7969

      Why is it the Chinese fault or problem? DRC does it to themselves and there own people. There not "obligated to help" just because there purchasing a product the DRC is selling. They are not nor is the rest of the world making them oppress there own people. And do what a regime change? Like what Obama did to Libya and bc of that now you can buy people for 500 USD in the streets. They need to solve there own problems.

      Solve it how? The DRC is oppressing there own people by the current occupying force. Another will rise up and take over and do the same thing. Has been going on since at least the 13th century with lose documentation but probably forever. No amount of money can stop that problem, it will just go to the current gov, no foreign army can either, has to be done by there own people deciding to work together not against each other. It's no one's fault but there own. A company buying a product from the DRC does not automatically make all problems within that country There problem.

    [23]And the dead shall be cast out as dung, and there shall be no man to comfort them: for the earth shall be wasted, and the cities shall be cast down.
    [24]There shall be no man left to till the earth, and to sow it
    [25]The trees shall give fruit, and who shall gather them?
    [26]The grapes shall ripen, and who shall tread them? for all places shall be desolate of men:
    [27]So that one man shall desire to see another, and to hear his voice.
    [28]For of a city there shall be ten left, and two of the field, which shall hide themselves in the thick groves, and in the clefts of the rocks.
    [29]As in an orchard of Olives upon every tree there are left three or four olives;
    [30]Or as when a vineyard is gathered, there are left some clusters of them that diligently seek through the vineyard:
    [31]Even so in those days there shall be three or four left by them that search their houses with the sword.
    [32]And the earth shall be laid waste, and the fields thereof shall wax old, and her ways and all her paths shall grow full of thorns, because no man shall travel therethrough.
    [33]The virgins shall mourn, having no bridegrooms; the women shall mourn, having no husbands; their daughters shall mourn, having no helpers.
    [34]In the wars shall their bridegrooms be destroyed, and their husbands shall perish of famine.
    [35]Hear now these things and understand them, ye servants of the Lord.
    [36]Behold, the word of the Lord, receive it: believe not the gods of whom the Lord spake.
    [37]Behold, the plagues draw nigh, and are not slack.
    [38]As when a woman with child in the ninth month bringeth forth her son, with two or three hours of her birth great pains compass her womb, which pains, when the child cometh forth, they slack not a moment:
    [39]Even so shall not the plagues be slack to come upon the earth, and the world shall mourn, and sorrows shall come upon it on every side.
    [40]O my people, hear my word: make you ready to thy battle, and in those evils be even as pilgrims upon the earth.

People try to blame El Nino, dual action with man made input doesn't make sense provided other years are drought years. Furthermore Study El Chichónal March-April 1982 the biggest eruption in Mexico History 10 times Greater than Mt. Saint Hellens in Washington and California floods of 1982-1983. The largest Volcanoes seem to explode during Hot weather then the result is Rain and cooling the earth after hence the years 536, 540, 1815 and 1886, also 1906 Mt Vesuvias exploded on two sides of the mountain, 1906-1907 Sacramento river in California floods 20 miles wide.

    Maybe the world is tired of nations that exploit their own people, promote violence, blame decades old colonialism for their present corruption etc.! Humanitarian aid should come from those who are benefiting directly from the labor of the people. The assistance needs to be DIRECT to the people most in need. If given to the government , guarantee corruption will profit and the people will still starve.

    Africa frequently makes me sad. Africa has so much potential, such great resources, but between tribal groups, religion, cruelty, and culture differences - they keep tearing themselves apart. It seem like Africa could have been a world power, but they keep themselves poor and behind the rest of the world. It's such a hugh problem, I don't know how this will ever evolve into better lives for the African people.

    • @daniesavage
      @daniesavage Год назад

      Hmmm. I’d imagine if other countries didn’t exploit them of their resources by moving people off tribal lands with fake agreements. You know the ones where they promise to pay the communities they are forcing off their lands/give residuals and then never do. Wolves prey on these countries . I can’t imagine what a sheltered life you lead to make such an off base comment. This stuff is and has been well documented

      You say “tearing themselves apart” and “keeping themselves poor” do you not understand this is colonialism and western interference that keeps this happening, the west is responsible and these demons that invoke this human atrocity are sitting in Europe and the United States, they choose to dispose of blacks in every way they can it has been a world wide campaign for centuries, but these same blacks are gods children, the true Israelites of the Hebrew Bible and soon the world will see the truth and fell the wrath of Yahweh, all glory to the most high who will restore Africa!

      If you study the history of the last 50 years or so in Africa you will understand it's not something they have control over. Western powers may have retreated from the continent but their interests are what's keeping these countries in perpetual chaos. Dictators have remained in power for decades and weapons keep reaching rebel groups specifically because countries like France, UK, and the US want cheap access to minerals and other commodities.

    We are governed by Collective Antipathy. We aspire to humanitarian principles yet never quite make it. Maybe the reason why is because we sponsor tin-pot dictators in Rwanda and Uganda who in turn are sponsoring over 150 rebel groups in the Congo. These rebel groups are responsible for much of the misery in the Congo.
    By the way, the economy in the Congo is not a 'Black economy,' it's definitely a 'White economy' imposed on Black people.
