I also have tested. I am very satisfied with the handling and comfort provided by the suspension. For me, the engine gives me enough power, not less, not more, just enough. The only thing I want to complain is the sound insulation from the engine. The engine is loud. The engine is not under power and the weight is only 40 kg heavier than my NCP 151 Vios. However, the sound insulation against the engine is worse than my Vios.
Understand it is not under power. But provided it is a 7 seaters, it meant fetch more people and stuff sometimes than the sedan. So a bit more power will be better? NVH is OK for sedate driving. But once you rev the engine hard it will generate more noise(common for NA engine). It is a B segment Japan car anyway.
@@AnthonyLoh Really wished it came with better NVH from the engine and wouldn't mind paying slightly more for it.
Will you make veloz and rush nighttime pov? Especially at nighttime, the interior atmosphere is different

hi anthony. comparing the veloz to the xpander in terms of driving experience. handling .suspension etc.....what is your take on these two?...im in the phase of decision making between these two.......always on long journeys with family
Besides of handling, agility the Veloz is better in most of the aspect. Veloz has more features, bigger interior, smoother ride (CVT vs 4 speed). I like the way the Xpander drive and ride but besides of that I think Veloz is an overall better family car (my own opinion).

is the tyre hard?i saw the tire is so thin but the rim is 17. quite dangerous if u run over deep hole (malaysian road maaa)
17" is common now. I personally used the 215/45/17 for so many years. So far so good. Of cause you have to careful going deep hole etc.

How does this Veloz driving experience compared with Alza? Throttle response, suspension, NVH etc..
Pretty similar in overall. But the ride height is higher on the Veloz. As for the throttle repsond the Veloz seems a bit more responsive than the Alza if I recall properly. Or just my own feel. 🤣
@@AnthonyLoh Oh you felt it as well? I also thought it was more responsive but also couldn't confirm if it's just my own feeling.
But it is likely Toyota tuned it to be more responsive since Toyota buyers will not mind sacrificing a bit of fuel economy for responsiveness
I have test drive both. Veloz seems to response better, comfort a bit better and nvh too.

should have not pressed the power mode to check the real acceleration of the Veloz
I am checking the optimal power output for the acceleration test. So yours can judge the normal mode acceleration will be a bit slower from it.
