  • In today’s Top Tip Tuesday the MeshTools mtInset object is explored, dynamically modeling and extruding a primitive plane. Multiple Inset objects are then layered up and animated, using keyframes. The result is an interesting mix of organic movements within strict geometric rules. More animation is added using Fields and the look is completed by adding Wrap and Displacement deformers.

Thanks for sharing the techniques you used in Black Friday. A small observation. When adding the second mtInset, we can see small vertical growths on the surface (also present in the downloaded file). We can remove them in mtInset (1e) (Advanced). Whether we make the change or not, it is not very apparent in the final rendering.

Bought fused and is amazing. Just don't like that I have to be online all the time to lunch it.
