5:17 Is the scabbard fittings glued or nailed on?
I’m teaching over on the UK the next 2 weeks, but as I recall, these fittings are glued on. The other Jian of their’s I tested had the fittings nailed on. Glued on fittings can be just fine when they are done right. I think if you request the fittings to be nailed on they will oblige.
