It was such a beautiful experience visiting your resort. All throughout the night peacock was calling for carnivorous movement. I also met many wildlife enthusiasts there.

Awasthiji in books of Jim Corbett and Kenneth Anderson their hardly any mention of lakadbagga (Indian hyena),i remember my father who was born in Bijnor in 1936 he use to say that lakadbadga use to roam freely in the jungles near Bijnor and use to take away small kids in jungle.even heard about domesticated elephants picking wood logs but not heard much about tigers.

Monica Ji Namaste,,as far as I remember Mr.Kenneth Anderson even had the Indian striped hyena as a pet in his miny zoo with descriptions of its growth from a baby hyena to adulthood alongwith a bear and some other jungle fauna.
Moreover there is also mention about the hyenas timid nature and the sounds it emits under stress or when it is about to steal the prey of big cats in at least three stories.
But yes the poor hyena gets a lesser space in the stories when compared to the greatest cat on earth the King of the Indian Jungles.
