- Following my 2020 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special build series - in this video I install the HogWorkz Saddlebag Liners with the silver threading. The part number for these saddlebag liners is HW301030.
These HogWorkz Saddlebag Liners will fit 2014-2021 Harley-Davidson baggers / touring models specifically with the standard saddlebags.
If you have extended bags, HogWorkz makes saddlebag liners for your bike too, it would just be different part numbers than the ones I install in this video.
I'm extremely disappointed in HogWorkz for letting saddlebags with running threads leave their factory. Clearly the quality control team needs to work on process and figure out how to solve for issues like the ones I've found.
Based on what I've seen, until HogWorkz fixes these issues, I cannot with confidence recommend you to purchase this product. In fact, I would recommend you to avoid purchasing these until these kinds of QC are ironed out and products like these are not leaving the HogWorkz factory.
On another note the Reda saddlebag locks are great. I'm really happy with the lock design and I think Reda really found a great niche product that works and is cost efficient. The Reda saddlebag locks will fit 1993-2021 Harley-Davidson touring models.

I actually called and talked to hoqworkz because I had a question about liners for CVO stretched bags with amps installed, and they told me, they have a different manufacturer that makes the liners. So the QC might be more of an issue from the other manufacturer. I was hoping to get hogworkz to do a custom modification so the liners would fit with the amps in the saddle bags and that’s when they told me they don’t make the liners. They do however do all their paint match products in house in Brighton Michigan.

The locks don’t add any theft security. They are only for a different look of the 2014 and up. They are a must on the old style 1/4 turn pin locks.

They do add security lol, it take forever to remove those things!!!
Most places won't watch videos about their own products. I would, and have, contact them and I am sure they will resolve the issue. They are a great company and I have hundreds of dollars spend at Hogworkz. Great people and they will take care of you.

JMO I am not fussy about these liners I have a friend who has the Carpeted liner from HD and they fit much better and tight as well as fell pretty nice. The only concern I have is that I have an AMP in one of mine and don't knw if they make one that fits with an amp.
Over long term, did you notice more stitching issues with use, abrasion in the bags, etc?
@@rbljackson no, but I went pretty soft on them. Just lite stuff going in them.
The saddlebag liners looks good, fit well despite the thread issues. Hogworkz quality control need to do their job properly.

Install them on a summer day and let them sit out in the sun so they are plable when you put them in.

Yeah I think they serve a good purpose, especially now since I have the carbon fiber bags from Hofmann Designs. I need these even more.

They don’t have pockets in them to organize anything. If all you are looking for is a loner those cheap ones are ok.
