Good to hear. Also, always feel free to give me any constructive criticism. That's always welcome if it helps improve the quality of the videos. In fact, thanks to one of our viewers, I was able to improve the audio levels.
Good to know hack, as a non-bass player I'll be keeping my eyes open for alternative spacers to pop into the "lutherie box". Great idea to charge some jiobs by time and validate with video. Thanks for sharing the vids with us. 👍
Good hack, my friend. I think I can use that on a P90 I have in the bridge position on a partscaster, properly adapted to the unique mounting method used on P90's.
Funny you say that... I do have an acoustic guitar here that someone dropped off (when I wan't here) and the bridge was glued back using Great Stuff expanding foam. I've had this guitar here for over a year, meaning to make a video. Perhaps it's time.
Not sure what you mean by thick wall brass. But, yes, there are other possibilities, depending on what's available on hand. In a guitar repair shop, there are always used strings in the bin, so I tend to grab string fragments for many things, such as applying glue in the fret slots, during refrets. I have other uses for bass string ball ends. More videos coming in the future.
Love the videos, especially the different camera angles! Been watching for a while and hope to keep doing so, cheers!

Very impressed how you came up with that solution on the spot. 👍
It doesn’t always happen that way. But yes, I was lucky this time. Thanks.

If you just go to your local Guitar Center, they would probably give you some bass string ends from their recycling bin.

I'm glad to hear this is helpful. This is precisely what these videos are for.
Good idea, washers or nuts would also work.
Yep! I didn't even think of that.
Genius!
< Buys a used Bass guitar on Reverb so I can use the string ball ends for my pickup-wobble. ;-) >
LOL
@@GuitarQuackery BTW, thank you for posting all of your videos! I’ve learned a TON from you.
Nice hack. I would have just used Great Stuff spray foam and that pickup wouldn't move at all, 8-)

It takes years and thousands of unpaid hours before you make any money on RUclips. I like the idea of a live stream.
For some people significant monetization happens quicker. I wish I had a cleavage to sho on my videos. It would help speed up the process.
@@GuitarQuackery LOL. Maybe you need an assistant.
Thick wall brass or hard plastic tube
