  • I started the ride by crossing the River Thames on the Woolwich Ferry, and headed North on the old Great North Road, which the Romans very kindly built for us, and named Ermine Street by the Saxons. This was a lovely day out and over 400 miles covered through 5 Counties, Kent, Essex, London, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire, on my little Herald 250. My SD card ran out of memory before I finished the days riding, but I'll go back soon and ride these again and hopefully get some more footage.

I seemed to have got one of the warmest days of the year as well. Over 30c was wafting across the green fields. A few I rode at Widdington and Linton as well, but I never recorded when my card filled up.
