This competition has been the most exciting fishing program I've seen on YT in the last couple of year's, I've been enjoying every single episode and look forward watching it every single week, I really hope they continue doing these every year 😎🎣
It’s been very similar for us guys. Three days of fishing went so quickly and I had forgotten loads of stuff that happened.

I love this upc. Fishing fantastic lots of fishing and my favourite fisherman to look forward to every week is Chris Bartle the ginger fisherman n seeing other anglers been great I hope Chris does really well. But good luck to all other fisherman to tightlines all. Fantastic show lovin it

Just brilliant viewing week on week - absolutely loving it - congratulations to all the anglers in Group A for their skill, perseverance and all the knowledge they have passed on to us lesser mortals.
We are just lure fishermen trying to catch a few fish. As you call all see from the shows so far that social media might show that we catch all the time but when the conditions are not ideal we can all have hard days. Stick at it and learn your lures and it will all come good. EVERY day is a learning day 👊🏼

Watched them all so far class angerling by everyone my favourite didn't get through but I have another favourite in the other class well done everyone 🎣👊💯

I'm a pleasure angler just returned to the sport after 30 years.
I just fish for silvers so wasn't going to watch this series until I saw Chris the Ginger was in the comp. I have watch some of his vids on youtube so thought I'd give it a go.
And I am so glad I did.
Really impressed with the guys. Their personalities shine through and their respect and care for the fish is brilliant.
I really felt for Dan on his first day, so many takes and so many lost.
Can't wait for nexr week and to see if Chris Bartle makes it to the final.

Ryan seemed like a bit of a dark horse, and went under the radar. Lovely bloke too spoke to him on the phone about a recent order haha.

I have a question , I use a 15-60g casting weight rod does anyone think I could get away with using the 23cm drunk dancer lure with a one treble stinger ?? I do need to give the cast a bit of power as I normally fish reservoirs?
the state of british fishing is sad though.. i knew there wasnt as much water but seems there is hardly any..
Don't take this as an example bud, these were very tough weather conditions at the hottest point of the year, only a week after the rivers opened so there was no time to practice different venues.
Yes apart from a few good places its average at best, but it's a small country so just have to try make the best of it.
@@BradleyJohnHunt In from holland so might be a bit spoiled.. but ive got bigger water within like 2 miles of my house, can even pick between different bigger waters on that distance.. In the summer i mostly fish the deeper gravel pits, fish dont mind the heat that much over there and almost noone fishes them.. esp from a boat. Things like dayticket fisheries and carp ponds are much less comon over here.. people just get 1 permit and u fish almost everywhere. I wouldnt want to have to get on a list to be able to fish a water for a season, I just show up with my boat allowed or not.. put it in and accept consequences later. (havnt had a single ticket yet).
The issue is everything is privatised over here and carp fishing is fucking massive compared to predator fishing, so you have so many commercial carp lakes. I have 5 different angling club member cards, which isnt even that much compared to some people I am sure, and that cost me £300 every year. Also don't even get me started on the amount of raw sewage being dumped into our rivers.
@@Catonkey1 In holland its about 30 pounds for a years fishing, (another 20 for a 3rd rod license) we have lots of smaller federations that each have a few members only venue's, mostly closed off ponds with carp in them, sometimes a little stretch of the river stuff like that... But u can get a 5 pound dayticket to fish them or get another year membership for 10 pounds (about). Thats also why all of Germany comes to fish over here.( it can get a bit busy sometimes).
What is comes down to is that we have a lot more water over here, in the uk venues are rare and privatly owned.. over here they are mostly public. And we have a lot more spots where u cant even get to without a boat. We have so much water i can put in a boat behind my house (north of the netherlands) and then sail all the way to belgium.

The boat angler thing has been bounded about a lot but people forget that all the lads who are fishing from boats started fishing on banks.
