Thanks I'm happy you enjoyed it and would have liked to watch more! I'll bear that in mind when making my next videos. I do have some longer videos on my channel
George how have you prepared your canvas do you use gesso both sides of the canvas or just the surface you paint on. Nice painting great aerial perspective.
@@paulperry8614 thank you! The canvas I'm using here has already been primed so i can paint on it straight away. I just apply a thin wash of raw umber to give it a tone. This one has only been primed on one side
@@GeorgeFrederickThomas thanks George just what I needed to know. Do you ever paint in plywood. I buy a large sheet from DIY store and then cut to any size I want then acrylic white undercoat to both sides.
that’s so cool you could go to the same spot as Turner! walking in the footsteps of the masters. well done!
@@randominternetuser2 thanks! It was really cool to paint in the same place he did over 200 years ago!
Beautiful execution love how you gave the rim light to the clouds and the atmospheric perspective.
Thanks :) the clouds were beautiful on that day!
Exelente trabalho de luz e cor. En plein air.👏🇧🇷🎨✨

@@Zoewhiteart7676 thank you 😁
Beautiful colour matching and composition.
Thank you :)
I could have watched a lot more of that. Do you make longer videos? I don't think anyone is likely to get bored by watching you!

@@paulperry8614 I do the same thing I always prime both sides so that it doesn't warp. I normally do one layer of wood primer then 2 layers of gesso
