That is not true. Different brands have different glue strengths. Not all of them come off that easily. Besides, it depends on how long it’s been since first applied and how thick the skin is. As a matter of fact, it’s quite irresponsible to suggest that you can do this to everyone. Elderly people tend to have very thin skin. Pulling the band aid in this fashion will likely break the skin and cause a lot of damage to the area, from severe bruising to bleeding. Start with a warm compress for 5 to 10 minutes to help soften the glue, then gently rub a drop or two of olive oil around the edges. Repeat the process if necessary. Be sure to keep the wound very clean. Typically water and anti bacterial soup will do the trick. Be sure to keep the wound dry at all times. It will heal faster in most cases.

You can try with coconut oil.
Pour coconut oil drop after drop on bandage until it all get soak in oil. Wait 2 mins and remove it. You dont feel pain at all.
It worked for big plaster which was used after angiogram.
At hospital they poured spirit / anti bacterial solution on it but it hurt like skin coming out.
Try oil remidy whether it is cannula plaster, bandage or anguogram big plaster with multiple layers around wrist or groin area.
Comment if it works for you too.

Try applying some baby or olive oil to the plaster to help loosen the adhesive. Let it soak for about 10-15 minutes. When you start to remove it, peel it slowly from one corner and apply gentle pressure to the skin next to the plaster. If it's still hard to remove, you can use warm water to soften the adhesive further. Hope this helps!

I'm not going to ask are you okay because you're clearly not, but all I'm going to say is that you'll stop one day. ❤ Whether it is soon or in a little while, you'll eventually stop I promise.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing discomfort. When dealing with areas with more hair, try applying a warm compress for 5-10 minutes to help with the adhesive. A touch of olive oil around the edges can also ease the removal. Once off, clean with antibacterial soap and keep dry. Hope this helps!
