Man this song brings back so many great memories. In the 80s we’d drive up to At My Place in Santa Monica and watch Michael Ruff (Chakas MD) and SnuffyWaldren (Chakas guitarist) play with a band of who’s who guys. Ralph Carmichael, Jimmy Johnson, Vonda Shepard. Most nights Chaka, Lionel Ritchie or somebody cool was in the audience. He would do some of her tunes too. Music was so good you couldn’t even listen to the radio on the way home! Thanks for sharing this! Great job!
@@elephantgrass631 yep - Ally McBeal. Vonda was singing as a background singer back then. She would sing with MaxAyn Lewis to back up the band at times. If you look at the discographies on those other guys - very impressive. Snuffy alone - Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer - composed music for Thirtysomething, Wonder Years, Rosanne, Friday Night Lights, etc. It was a pretty stout crowd of musicians on that stage.
Ahhh that was awesome! That song is such an ideal song of jazzy chords and the arrangement. I loved your soft piano lead on it and of course the chords.
I look in your eyes and I can see We've loved so dangerously You're not trusting your heart to anyone You tell me you're gonna play it smart We're through before we start But I believe that we've only just begun When it's this good, there's no saying no I want you so, I'm ready to go Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall For a chance to be with you I'd gladly risk it all Through the fire Through whatever, come what may For a chance at loving you I'd take it all the way Right down to the wire Even through the fire I know you're afraid of what you feel You still need time to heal And I can help if you'll only let me try You touched me and something in me knew What I could have with you Now I'm not ready to kiss that dream goodbye When it's this sweet, there's no saying no I need you so, I'm ready to go Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall For a chance to be with you I'd gladly risk it all Through the fire Through whatever, come what may For a chance at loving you I'd take it all the way Right down to the wire Even through the fire Through the test of time Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall For the chance to be with you I'd gladly risk it all Through the fire Through whatever, come what may For a chance at loving you I'd take it all the way Right down to the wire Even through the fire To the wire, to the limit (through the fire) Through the fire, through whatever Through the fire, to the limit Through the fire, through whatever Through the fire, to the limit Through the fire, through whatever Through the fire, to the limit Through the fire, through whatever Through the fire, to the limit Through the fire, through whatever Through the fire, to the limit Through the fire, through whatever
@@alanbyrd1940original commenter wasn’t criticizing the player, just the sound of the Nord. Nothing wrong with different pianists not agreeing what timbre is the best.
Come on now, right around :34, theres a couple chromatic chords that are played on the and of 3 and on 4 that your not playing that MUST be there. I think your playing in Ab so im talking about E min and E flat minor as the chords your missing. You're too good of a player to just glance and not hit those.
Wow! There she is making music with the best👏❤️👏🎶🥦
Wauw! TOP!

Wow
I look in your eyes and I can see
We've loved so dangerously
You're not trusting your heart to anyone
You tell me you're gonna play it smart
We're through before we start
But I believe that we've only just begun
When it's this good, there's no saying no
I want you so, I'm ready to go
Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire
I know you're afraid of what you feel
You still need time to heal
And I can help if you'll only let me try
You touched me and something in me knew
What I could have with you
Now I'm not ready to kiss that dream goodbye
When it's this sweet, there's no saying no
I need you so, I'm ready to go
Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire
Through the test of time
Through the fire, to the limit, to the wall
For the chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire
To the wire, to the limit (through the fire)
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Through the fire, to the limit
Through the fire, through whatever
Fantastic!

Power playing. But. Where is the WHOLE SONG???? LOLOL. MORE MORE. Lol.
Generally speaking the only timbre of poor quality is the piano.
I like this song but not the Nord
I didn't like the sound of this piano. Nord just reminds me of the sound of worship, I don't know why.
Think it’s his style of play
Where's your cover song, bro?
@@saulgoodman7858 I know right! Lol smh… brother sounds great…
