Okay. it's very cheap. the problem is that i live in norway... Not in canada and USA so that's a huge issue. it can quickly get expensive when it comes to shipping price of course. But it looks good and sounds good. So who knows? Maybye i will buy it some day!
Saw you guys down in Sacramento in June. I remember watching your videos a few times prior, and not listening to Carcosa much at that time. It was crazy when I made the connection like, “wait where do I know this guy from? No way!” Your videos are great, you give great in depth reviews and tutorials, top quality content man!
The AM2 stuff is part of Cuvave/Playwell's profiling options. Looks like there's extra software you can download to make profile captures of amps/pedals/plugins and run those in place of amp slots on the Tank G. I really like the idea of profiling a pedal and being able to use it in place of the amp on/off button in the live mode. Or the possibility of profiling a Neural DSP plugin preset with just the od/amp/eq active and having 9 IR slots on the pedal to run it through.
really now? That's insanely cool i might just buy this as a fun option to practice with some cool tones but the more I learn I find its a powerful tool.
one thing you guys need to know, that thing can profile/capture amp with their computer software called SincoAnn and comes out as AM2 files (already spread across facebook and internet for download and sharing). its expensive in Canada tho, here in Indonesia i bought m-vave tank g for about 80 CAD. Then blackbox comes out, bought it for dirt cheap 75CAD. M-Vave/Cuvave/Playwell/etc is all the same manufacturer Sinco Intelligent Technology Co.,LTD
Just got it. The instructions it came with, doesn't really explain how to program the patches very well. The overdrive/distortion sounds pretty good, but the phaser and tremolo are so-so. There's only two controls to program the effects such as for Delay it's only Time delay and decay. Buy you can create 36 patches + 1 (bypass). It took a while to figure out how to program in a logistical and logical pattern. Once the patches are program, the one fallacy is that you' can't tweak the sound at all, you can only control the Master Volume.
Saw this video yesterday and I immediately bought one. Its on sale and I already received it today. it looks dope. It also come with button covers. I thought they were guitar knobs.
I've been somewhat curious of these small "fly-rig" modelers after seeing the bassist in a touring act I once played local support to use one during a show. I'm still very much a fan of going from modeler to FOH, but my rigs are still quite large lol. Thanks for yet another cool gear rundown Andrew! 🤘😄
I've just bought one of these - and it's superb! I don't have any need for the distorted amp models so - I've replaced them with a Fender Blues Deluxe, a Plexi 100, an AC15 and an Orange Super Crush... and replaced 2 of the overdrive models with overdriven AC30s.... I use it for blues and jazz, with several different guitars - so having 36 presets is a godsend - and at some point I'll be reviewing the IR settings - to fine-tune it for my purposes. If I ever feel the need to rock - well, there's a lot of .am2 preamps out there so I'll find something suitable.
@@BaenaCarcosa 😂😂😂 Nawww man I never used Limewire because my dad was a computer scientist so never allowed us to use software that could give our computers viruses. However RUclips though. 😂😂😂
I actually really wanted to hear you use like a 7 or 8 string guitar with that since a lot of cheaper stuff like this just doesn't work very well with those lower tunings, and I play with those so I'd like to know.
I am being VERY honest I have a Tonex for almost 1 year. I am tired of this, I spend hours, days by setting my presets, pedal, software. I would even condider swap it for a Tank G
Surely, the question shouldn’t really can the Tank G sound “heavy?” Getting heavily compressed, heavily distorted sounds is pretty easy with almost any modelling amp or pedal. It’s the subtle, dynamic, touch-sensitive stuff that most of them don’t do at all well In this respect, the Tank G is no worse than many others, but neither is it all that great. Not everyone wants to play heavy, tuned-down rock music!
Get the Tank-G pedal from Playwell here:

For 94 bucks canadian? You got me
@@THEDJAG-gt1tz Bro I liv in Venezuela and OF COURSE I'M BUYING IT!!! I mean 80$ for the pedal+ 20 buck for the shipment? totally worthy
@@Jimmyroots Yo i live in norway. Do you get it how expensive the shipping could become??🤣
It's weird seeing Andrew with a traditional looking guitar that isn't green, baritone, or a 7/8 string, it feels out of place
almost uncanny
Classic gojira riff to start the video off is always a good sign!
Loved doing a clip of that riff! Super fun to play !
your mixes have gotten better ngl, those drums are crispy

Thanks so much I really appreciate you saying that!
I for sure heard some Despised Icon in there.

Great review. Was that a riff from the Doom (2016) theme at 18:56?

11:08 I just discovered this riff from knock and I love it so much
Whoa, I thought I was on the wrong channel for a second. No, just Andrew playing Gojira. 😂
Finally, a Canadian guy reviewing it
Ahh yes. The personal computer. Goes well with my cordless telephone. 😂😂😂
Also don't think I didn't recognize Furtive Monologue. 😎
Only a fellow old man would know that tune from the old days of limewire on a personal computer
@@BaenaCarcosa 😂😂😂 Nawww man I never used Limewire because my dad was a computer scientist so never allowed us to use software that could give our computers viruses. However RUclips though. 😂😂😂
Hands Up for Furtive Monologue, what a sick song
Dude if we had stuff like this when I was ten years old, I'd be famous by now
Eyyy! That's one of the most famous multi-fx here in the Philippines right now, the MVAVE Tank G
Next one Try the Tank B for bass 😎
when you started playing One, for a second I thought it was Californication
now somone needs to mash dem up

The video I was looking for! Somebody using the Tank g for metal. I am getting my in 2 days.
Whats the latency on this? The AD/DA conversion time?
It reminds me of the moore black truck. Pretty much the same kinda thing
Cool, i think i just saw you at a sushi place in Maple Ridge.
is all TankG's the same? I found one for $40 on aliexpress and it looks the same, but wonder if its the same under the hood.
Where can I find the IR that you loaded in?
I bought it from Odeholm Audio
@@BaenaCarcosa Sick! Gonna go snag myself a copy!
Andrew, please make a vid of Infant Annihilator tuned down! Hope to see it soon, that would be 🔥🔥🔥
All incredible. Just strange there is no regular 9v input for integrating into a pedalboard
HI ANDREW!!!
Sounds way better than those plugins you have been using. I can't be the only one who thinks so.
Are there any differences between this purple tank g and the blue one?
That's a decent piece of equipment for the price
make one on how to record properly with the device on the phone and pc please, where how to download IR`s please
Were you playing despised icon?
it's 79.99 us plus 15% off coupon
It is like a foot controller with effects..
D standard? What is this… a guitar for ants!
All hail the thumbnail with egregious arrows pointing to things!
Do something Doom again, but very heavy. Like Creatures of Nekravol
You can get this for quite a bit cheaper if you dont mind having it shipped from China.
Wow, I have the NUX MG-100 and I think it costs $200CAD. Which I thought was cheap
Looks like a Tech21 Flyrig
A FURTIVE MONOLOGUE!
Thank you! I knew I recognised it but couldn't place it. Time to put my DI shirt on and get riffing 🤘🏻
I wonder what this would sound like with an 8 string
I am being VERY honest

I hope they fixed this serious flaw: ruclips.net/video/1wSONv3G-GE/видео.html
Tremowlo eh? So it can cut down my grass too? Sold!
Always love putting out a 20 minute long video and people finding one word in the entire thing to point out lol
@@BaenaCarcosa HAHA! I really think I'm gonna buy it btw. Looks perfect for a bedroom/practice room setup I'll be building soon.

@@BaenaCarcosa But that's the point. Just about all of them focus on rock tones!
>Turns on chorus.
> CLEARLY NOT a chorus.
Wtf is that? Sounds more like a phaser. The distortion/amp sounds pretty passable though.
Sound very cheep good for children
Its weird you playing normal guitar and high tuning
Make captures!
The FACT is, you can't trust "paid for " sponsored videos that Give free stuff to the "reviewer" 🤷🙄...
Horrible music " metal" is for those who can't play 😕.. distortion/ gain, covers all sins 👎
