When you say “not all of them make it” what do you mean? Do they not survive in the forest? Are some not ever ready to be released? If so, do they stay with you?
Some can't survive in the wild and will be brought back to live in the sanctuary. Some can never be released and will spend their entire lives at the sanctuary. In Sumatra, their forever home will be the Orangutan Haven: redapes.org/haven
We all need to do a better Job of Awareness of the Plight of the Orangutan. We need an Army. To Pressure the Governments to Move Away from the Palm Oil crop. From what I have learned that's where our Focus should be.
