Butter release era was so much fun and hype. A much needed feel good anthem during covid, and to this day it holds the record for the most yt views accumulated by a video in just 24hrs, with over 100m.

I love this song ! As a 3 year old army, this was my first comeback. I was there when they released the teaser which was a 1 hour heart butter animation melting 😂

I do enjoy Butter, it is fun - and as someone who was pushed down the BTS rabbit hole around the very beginning of the pandemic in 2020, I was too new to the KPop industry to know anything about a teaser or "comeback" PLUS I was not and still am not regularly on any social media platforms (except RUclips). So I was pushed down the rabbit hole just after MOTS:7 in January 2020 so Black Swan and On were the first "new" videos that my daughter made me watch, although not the first BTS video that I watched. And my first complete promotional event was for Butter (yes, I watched a melting stick of butter for hours while I worked from home) and I even created a stick of butter with my name on it! LOL
I don't remember now why I even started this comment, Septa or SOARE must have asked a question that made me want to share this ... anyway, I'm leaving it for historical record😅.
