Well made vid. I think they both sound great. I like pipes that are just loud enough to hear the RPMs. Loud but not very very loud. I'd be happy with either. I'm keeping the V+H for a while. Thanks for the well made vid.

I agree, 100% but unfortunately for us city riders sometimes loud pipes save lives. I have noticed myself not being seen constantly by other drivers compared to other bikes
This gives me an idea. Pair the engine management system to an app on your phone, then play whatever exhaust sound you want over speakers inside your helmet using a Bluetooth connection. It could be worth millions.
The exhaust is manufactured to be in compliance worldwide.......Imagine riding your new bike home from the dealership in West Buckfart Mongolia and getting a noise ticket.

I’ve had a couple of test rides on R18’s and I love them. The engine is crazy, so much character and pulls like a train.

I like the V&H as well. However the do not fit on the classic.

It sounds nice stock. But can barley hear it while riding. Pipes exit out the back....
I agree definitely better sound with factory exhaust..keep the standard exhaust buddy trust me you will refit it given enough time (you will 👍)

I agree.....I think the OEM sound is tasteful, has enough character and wont be fatiguing after a 500 mile day.

I like the sound of the factory akrapovic exhaust much better. It does sound like an old propeller plane. The slip ons sound is just like a harley 🤢
