Perhaps consider a multi-directional, self adjusting wind cap. I put one on my home because strong winds will come down your chimney. It can even put out your fire or make it very, very hard to start.
Did that chimney height work? Did you need to add a section of pipe when in use? In residential construction you would need to be two feet taller than anything withing 10 feet to get proper draw and to prevent embers from lighting on anything.
The videos would be much more helpful if the camera was placed on a tripod while you talk and show us exactly what you are doing. For newbies to wood stoves, like me, it is very helpful to see everything within frame.
I went to your website, and you say that the heat shield should run the entire length of the single-wall piping, but in this video, you don't have that, just the bare windows. I am confused. Is it necessary? I am getting ready to install the wood stove and don't want to skip any important steps. Thanks!!
Great question! Yes, you should have a heat shield for the entire length of the single wall pipe if it's less than 16 inch from combustibles (which includes windows). For some great examples of full-length heat shields, check out our case studies here: www.tinywoodstove.com/case-studies/ And - as always - just send us an email if you have any questions :) support@tinywoodstove.com

Messy installation. I do not like the bend in the pipe. I would have located in different position to get pipe straight. You will get issues and need to clean more often.

The chimney top from a boat ⛴ or marine chimney top has baffles to stop water.... Might help on a rainy day...
You are going to have a lot of fun cleaning that pipe when the time comes.. and more often than you think. Good luck with it .

How is the heat on the ceiling directly above the stove? We have found that our ceiling gets alarming hot.

this bus ceiling looks like it was spray foamed. Is the spray foam okay to come in contact with the pipe that goes through the roof?
No it isn't. I am sure that the hole they cut was oversized to allow for the required distance combustible materials set by the manufacturer.
Where did you find the chimney pipe clamps?
