- I couldn't find a good video for this song, so I made a quick one for my Gaia profile. I promise I'm not always this indolent... I'll make a better one later perhaps =)
I just don't want to bother with all of this @ 3:37 AM just because I'm dissatisfied with all of the Kingdom Hearts AMVs for this song.
._.
I really miss Meg & Dia. They are my favorite band of all time, wish I could've seen them play love just once. Their music has such a unique sound that you can't find anywhere else.
got to watch em years ago at Houston warped tour, some jerk band that was on before them wouldn't get off stage and at meg and dia's stage time.
Isabelle Von Lazar They're one of my favorites, too. The should form a new band and continue on.
Jaysun Young you’re so lucky!! I wish would’ve got a chance to see them live. Meg opened up a coffee shop w Nick and Dia is an independent music artist.. 💔 miss this band so much!!
Saw them live in 2007, will never forget it, they are so beautiful and amazing to listen to
Isabelle Von Lazar they’re back
The song Indiana is based off the book "Indiana by George Sand" which was actually a pseudonym. The authors real name was Amantine Aurore Dupin. The story is about a young French Noblewoman named Indiana. Who's is married (by arrangement) to a much older ex-army officer. She lives in the home with her cousin (who is in love with her. This is based in 1800's or earlier?? I forgot I haven't read the book in YEARS) and a maid ( who's her best friend and close to her age). (Im sure there's other residents but, they are the important people to the story.) Indiana isn't happy with her life and isn't fond of her husband. She seeks romance where the love is both mutual. Then one day a handsome man moves in next door and he declares his interest in Indiana. She becomes so happy and falls in love with him she wants to leave her husband and be with him. BUT at the same time he was seducing her maid/close friend. They end up sleeping together and the maid ends up becoming pregnant with his child.
So one evening Indian is telling her maid/best friend how madly in love she is with this guy. The maid/best friend is filled with guilt cause she wants Indian to be happy. So one stormy night she jumps off the bridge in to a flooded river and kills herself along with the unborn child. Like the book is an amazing read and there is a shit tone more drama.
Ako Tamaki omg that’s so sad ): I feel a bit bad for the maid :/
Gosh haven't heard this song in forever!! Still one of my favorite songs

this one of my favorite songs don’t tell nobody 🤫🤫😂
Hey
LUV LUV LUV IT
@Mormodes I'm not dissin on them here. they are good, and this is a good song. I haven't listened to the whole album, but on this particular song, there is most definitely auto-tune. auto-tune isn't just an effect for people like T-Pain. It's a tool used by audio engineers to fix, change, or perfect vocals and it's been around since 97. And sometimes it's used not-so-tastefully. So let me clarify my opinion: great song, great group, bad use of auto-tune : )
I love this song
Sooo Truuue !!
love.love.love this song!!!!!
It is a realist, idealist, and romantic novel that deals with the problems of marriage in post Napoleon France. In the story an attractive, young Creole from Reunion Island named Indiana marries a much older man named Colonel Delmare, who had been a Lieutenant in Napoleon's army, and who was a successful industrialist. Indiana does not love him, and searches for someone who will love her fully and passionately.
You can hear the pain in their voices, it's very convincing.
love love love this song
I LUUUV THIIIS SOOONG !!!!!
i love them and this song, along with their others, ia ah-mazing! there are so good at making music.
by the way, even though the video is really simple it is too cute!
nice job
Yeah, I'm a Twilighter, too. =]
That song does kind of remind me of Twilight... Yay! xD
I love Meg & Dia... thanks, CosmoGirl magazine for introducing me to them!! =))
I love this song!
oooh my.
this is so so pretty :D
i love it :)
I've just come across these guys...
amaze much?!
I'm in love with 'Monster' and this song is pretty kick arsee. =D
@starswontfade What are you talking about. Meg wrote this song after reading a book called Indiana, by George Sand. The song isn't about where they live or are from it's about Indiana, a very sickly woman whose marrried to a very old man and has an affair with the boyfriend/fiance of her stepdaughter which starts an adventure that someone as sickly as her has never experienced.
I love it. Great job. =)
love it!!
woo gaia!
woo Indiana!
Woo Meg and Dia!
XD
xx
Love this song!
they have amazing voices. :) i love them i also want the album ^^
I love the guitar in this one yea they are great!
yes i totally agree. although they're both stereotypes. we should all remember stereotypes are a reflection of somewhat reality. scene kids usually dont wanna refer to themselves as emo and do ridiculous things specifically to "separate themselves". they're fake "emo kids" who are indecisive.
Gaia rocks. I love this song, and this band.
Me traz boas memórias. Meg & Dia soava de um jeito único...
amazing song!
Fantastic song! ^_^
haha ok, you guys all win. Meg and Dia would never even dream of using auto-tune in any context. I only said that because I'm jealous of how good they are; not because I thought it was amusing that you could hear it on the vocals. Just forget I even said anything lol.
@DyingSoliloquy theres no use of auto-tone. This was from the independent album. Not exactly the studio version.
meg and dia
haha, dia is the lead singer and meg is the one on guitar.
so i guess dia is the one with short hair, although i think its longer now. it was when i saw her in concert a few months ago lol
Love them!!
They better play this on the GIAN introduces tour :P hehe
So exited!!!
3 days!
=D
Tottaly Agree :D
is any else amazed by their singing? it gives me chills
amazing songg
o-o
awesome
xD
Okay the song is about the book Indiana my mark sand it's a very long but great book very sad the main charater "Indiana" has a wife she starts to die so he goes to the house where he fell in love with her but another woman lives there so he gets to know her after that he starts to fall in love with this woman while his wife is very I'll but there's more to it read the book it is very good. Meg and dia till I die :D
just as great if not greater than the newer version :)
wonderful voices
meaningful clip and nice song
totally met Dia today. oh god, i'm in looove hahah
im from indiana so when i heard this i thought it was awesome
i love this song
@1VC4U 'Cause I was curious? I'm pretty sure you've been curious about something at least, I dunno, ONCE?!? Pretty much everyone is. Plus it's kinda hard not to ignore top comments, they're right there. I appreciate your input as well, and yes I'll admit, I do make hypocritical mistakes, I'm human, and I'm me, it's what I do. So good day to you too.
Meg said that the song was inspired by George Sand's novel 'Indiana'.
the version on the CD is more rock i like it better! but i luv this song either way! MEG & DIA... r so amazing!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that comment made my day. xD

i know, i saw wat it was about online. i totally want 2 read it.
tbh i think if you like the song thats good, just dont write tonnes of crap which you "assume" is right.
i love this band, always will.
mostly their something real album is based on liturature. here here and here not as much from what i've heard. their first cd i believe was mostly their own acoustic songs
this isnt the album version, but i did find it on limewire
@megANDdiaLOVER4 thank you :P
I think it was based on a book by the same name... about a girl who marries a Colonel I think after the French Revolution...? Well, something like that. Haha.
@DyingSoliloquy lolwut? Guess you didn't hear the music. They aren't autotuned, and don't need autotune. These are real musicians
Why are amateurs commenting on this wicked video?
coming back and trying to remind ppl to come back xp
@DyingSoliloquy I don't think you know what you're talking about dude. Do me a favor and look up Setting up Sunday, (the video taken in a radio station booth) listen to their voices and the song and you'll know they aren't auto tuned in that song or this song or any song I've heard by them.
i LOVE this song...
its amazing....
i love meg and dia!!
