I hate when people say "I play guitar and so and so's music is so much harder to play than Slash's and so and so is faster than slash". You know what I say to that? What does that have to do with anything? Who cares about speed? Who cares about who's more difficult to play? It's all about creativity. You can be the fastest guitarist in the world, that doesn't mean that you can create iconic, timeless riffs and solo's like Slash has. It's Slash's mind that makes him the best in my opinion. Plus, the emotion that he has, is the best I've ever seen as well.
The kids just dont get it. Speed and complication are just pieces of cake to a point. It's about how, when to pick the strings that matter; and only a heart can tell.

You are not giving Slash enough credit for his technical ability. The man basically has it all. Shit, there's enough evidence for his technical ability in this song alone.

I totally see a blend of Civil War's intro, Welcome to the Jungle verse, November Rain 3rd solo and Double Talkin' Jive ending theme ... it felt almost like a tribute to Slash's career and TBH, as a fan of GNR, total idol of Slash, who inspired me to play guitar and actually made of me the only musician in my whole family, hell, I love this song! and Kennedy and The Conspirators do a bloody great job!!! THE SPIRIT OF HARD ROCK IS HERE!

Slash wrote welcome to the jungle, paradise city, rocket queen, civil war, don't damn me, locomotive and coma plus the riff to Sweet child and all those memorable solos in November rain, don't cry etc I think 85% is closer to his real contribution to guns.

@@konrione5349 Slash created the gnr sound with his greasy, slimy mix of gutsy, loose, blues based riffing and classical melodic ideas as demonstrated on songs where the other key gnr writers Axl n Izzy weren't present. Songs such as Slither, Anastasia, Fall to pieces and the whole of his snakepit album. He wrote the bulk of the hits on appetite so if Axl n Izzy were replaced, you'd still have that signature appetite sound because of slash.
I just love everything about slash's play style, look at how casual he looks all the time while on stage even when shredding the end of paradise city, one of my icons and should be seeing him in November which will complete my life : DDD
