The new era has become firm in Tennis. Federer, Brown, Monfis, Aga (and probably others) - these wildly versatile players created a new paradigm and now these younger players have learned it. Evolution.
That Djokovic point was pretty regular by his standard, nothing unreal about it. He made an unreal backhand pass against Sinner at Wimbledon, the one after which he felt like an airplane. And yes, I know there are no grand slam videos on this channel, but it’s very obvious they just wanted to put some Djokovic in here.
The point was about the emotion mostly.. he was just coming back, didnt feel it at all and all of a sudden he hits that perfect shot.. it was almost like the protagonist got his powers back near the end of a movie.. but I agree that without context, not THAT impressive of a point
What a year so far, Rafa’s resurrection to the top of the game (and soon the rankings), Alcaraz’s skybound rise, the Australian Open deportation saga. What’s next in 2022? 😜😃
Well, is really uncommon for 99.8% of other players, it’s just that he excels at it has done it many times, but very few other players can get that shot right and when it matters.
why do djokovic's backhand passing shots always get put in highlight reels like this? Yeah, its a good shot, but its literally just a crosscourt backhand. Backhand passing shots happen in every single high level match. People get so excited about Novax's backhand passes just because of who it is. The one in this video was especially average for an atp shot. Literally just a crosscourt backhand.
@@Lemonized98 so its cringe to call out someone who is openly anti-vax and has lied about being COVID positive and put others' lives in danger? I don't say novax as a joke. he is genuinely an awful person and a science denier.
Maybe im reading to much through that but I feel that the reactions of the players after points like that tell us a lot about their personnalities.. like that Agut point where his opponent litterally dived to continue the point but still lost it.. Agut didnt even aknowledged it at all and just celebrated.. other players (Kyrgios, Djoko, Shapo, Dimitrov, etc) will either applaude, go near them, or at least smile at their opponents after crazy points
I was shocked from the last video. Not of course from the point. A car was inside the court. It seems that the sponsor was a car company that didn't want just to put the name of the brand in one sign but wanted to put the car itself inside the court. Huge injyry potential for the players. Does it worth the risk?
Hurkacz is actually really good at the net
Na
He is probably the most talented player on tour right now
No wonder he won 2 doubles masters 1000 tournaments
@@WilShaa No, that title belongs to Sinner or Alcaraz
@@lachlanstory2896 of course they are talented, but I think Hurkacz has a bettee touch in terms of volley and dropshot
7:00 awesome sponsor
I guess Andrey Rublev dropshots is something that we can see more often
Paul and Garin's shots are astonishing
rublev's drop shots *chef kiss*

2:56 That was so smooth. Crazy coordination.

Can’t help but smile when Bublik is on a thumbnail

Yup definitely his best season
Nick Kyrgios
He wont be top of the ranking, thats for sure
@@adamkiss6981 if he wins the US Open, medvedev would have to win Los Cabos, Montreal and Cincinnati, and also reach the SFs at the USO
Olly Rafaclay played very good at wimbledon
8:27 --- THAT WAS THE BEST POINT OF 2022!!!
Hubi and Bublik= great point😄👍💪
You are missing the best shot of the year so far.... J.J Wolf's shot vs Tsitsipas at Miami
that made highlight reels tho
Djokovic point was good but not unreal cmon

Yeah that was definitely there because of Djokovic. Let's say someone like Fabio Fognini makes that shot, it won't surely make the list
My thoughts exactly. The moment wasn’t even that big. They just wanted to put him in just to have him in there

Brilliant comment ruined by seeing ’Novax’ for the 576th time, very original and not cringe at all

Very impresive

What? Istomin is still playing?
Well I've seen over half of them.
Phisically Alcatraz best
Isner! 5:49 was going out bro :(
It wasn't actually, in doubles that line counts as in
@@justarandomdarkoaklog7147 I agree tbh. Ball was rotating away and I am 98% sure would have landed as out. But we will never know now :D
@@justarandomdarkoaklog7147 I mean, I know that in pairs field "in" is bigger, but it might have landed "out".
Brooksby and Carballes Baena don't grunt, they moan 😂
6:10 what is unreal in this play? Quite standard passing shot from Djokovic, nothing special

Why aren’t you in the atp circuit then?

the reason they were doing awkward slices so much because that day there was very heavy wind
Yeah Brooksby has the ugly technique even worse than Medvedev
Incredible! And not a single point from a woman's match. But they want to earn the same amount
