As an aircraft mechanic, who's responsibility is to keep aircraft airworthy and safe... yeah we go through like 500 lbs of hot glue per aircraft. Kinda wears off over time, ya know? Peeling and whatnot... little hot glue here and there, bam. Airworthy.
The retractable desk idea is nice and all however it can be improved on like for example the screen actually fitting into the hole by messuring the computer screen first then cutting the hole out. Though if you really want to be fancy about it the latch goes gown slowly or fastly depending on how hard you pull/push and or how fast that way you don't have to worry about the computer screen getting damaged basically making it a hidden compartment and have a separate mechanism and latch or door to close over it once the screen is inside the table. Or just switch tabs or screen if the excitement of getting caught is too much for you to not lock the door when looking up porn
