Diabetes in Pregnancy Topic 6 - [Torres Strait Creole] - Preparing for baby's arrival

'Sharing the diabetes in pregnancy story’ is an 8-part video series, sharing the journey from testing for gestational diabetes, managing gestational diabetes, different medications (metformin and insulin), preparing for the baby’s arrival, through to diabetes after the baby is born.
The videos have been developed in consultation with Torres Strait Islander women in Cairns and in the Torres Strait Islands. We are so grateful to the women who were willing to sit with us and share their experiences of living with diabetes on camera.
Thank you to the health professionals across Northern Australia have also contributed to ensure that appropriate and accurate advice is given.
