@@jamespires3383 It must be different back then🙂 Last week I saw video from Portugal in 80's, wow that looked like from the classic movie, loved it 🇵🇹 Thank you for your comment🤝
Next time visit the winery in Colares...think it was right tin the old town...so awesome...huge vats - very old. Colares was one of the first regions in Portugal to produce wine if i remember correctly but I do know for sure it's the oldest wine co-op in all of Portugal...so cool inside and so historic. Then you pay if you want a wine tasting. Wines were excellent. We ate at the restaurant above the pool...very good but pricey! Worth if for the view from a window side table. Agree with your lovely wife....I thought Arenhos do Mar was so special and beautiful....really a favorite spot! You maybe have gotten a little bit spoiled, no?
@bh8138 I'm way too spoiled 😄 But I'm also adapting to more crowded places because I want to see all of Portugal. That's why I also went to Tavira and other towns in the Algarve. I'll just switch from popular to unpopular places and back again, so I appreciate both 😁🇵🇹 Thanks for the information about wine. I didn't know that, and nothing came up when I was preparing the script for the video 👍
Costa Prata is always 💯😁 But you know what they say, MPOW is always right. He can chill in Lisbon, Porto, or the Algarve, but the main goal is to diversify your stock portfolio 😄 The Portuguese government tries to do that. I'm here, doing their job in advance 😁
@@millionplacesoneworld - I can assure you it is. Politicians, bankers, business people, TV shows' presenters, socialites and pretty much everyone who is someone in the "high society" has a holiday home in that area. Definitely a place where us plebeians wouldn't fit in.
We did the same thing packing up our car and driving to Portugal, but you more than tripled us on kms...Just over 1200km from the SW of France. Did you get rid of your Fiesta? If so how? We cannot sell ours because it is registered in France and don't want to bother getting it registered here. Metal yard won't take it because it's French. And now I will continue the vlog!!
@@tamaramadelin4831 Hey 👋 France is very close compared to Latvia 😄 I also baught our new car in Germany and drived from Berlin in 26 hours back here🚗 Yes, we sold our Fiesta, if I understand correctly it went to Madeira🇵🇹 But we had it registered here, it was with all Portuguese documentation. But the process is a nightmare, so we just paid one company to do it for us. Answering your question we sold it on Facebook actually, guy next day just picked it up. For registration it depends on the car, how easy and expensive it will be🫡
@@millionplacesoneworld Thx for your experience! It's not worth it for us so it's in the garage getting older, but we don't want to deal with it...Ready to drop it off somewhere to be towed away, but that would probably not be a good idea and I hate problems!! One day we will do something, but for now house renovations are our priority and that's enough to deal with!! Thankful for a garage!!😜
Every year as children I would be in this area, colares & Praia grande specifically. Thanks for reminding me of great memories ❤

@Carpe-Diem Hey🫡 Yeah, this one's a beauty, if you don't mind a bit of people😁 Cheers!
Wow, rolling in Mercedes with DG sunglasses on the coast you guys got it going on 🤑
No, we are from Eastern Europe. 😁 We are in a Mercedes but eating sandwiches😁😁😁

Who, or what, is MPOW?
It must be Million Places One World 👌😄
It is called a large beach, because it was the largest in the area.
@@alexandraromaneiro7224 Oh, makes sense now, because not far is also Praia Pequena 👌 Thank you for info 🫡
Rich people's holiday resort...
Yeah, it seemed like it 🫡
