I have a fearless German Shepherd that would instantly go into attack mode. She wouldn’t stand a chance against a 600 lb black bear, but there would be no stopping her from trying.
There is nothing as beautiful as a bluetick singing. I could listen to "Passion" all day. I also have a bluetick and his voice is mesmerizing. They are all so different in tone and quality. I love it when he "gets" on a scent.
I love hearing this dog bay. My fox hound passed away several months ago. I will miss Luke forever. Coming across this video so reminds me of him. I've since rescued another hound mix. Since he is a mix, he barks, not bays. They are wonderful dogs.
Until now, I’d never heard of another person who owned a foxhound as a pet. We had a beautiful Foxhound years ago when I was just a kid. We got him because of a picture us kids saw in a book about dogs breeds. He was an amazing dog from an award winning show dog blood line. His registered name was long and fancy but we never bothered with it. We named him Mike. A simple human name seemed much more befitting his character. Our parents really had no idea what we had bought. Foxhounds need to run...a lot. When Mike he had the urge, he used to jump up and climb over our 6’ fence and be gone all day, even in - 40° weather. His short coat was deceptively weather proof. Everyone in our neighbourhood knew him, including many people I’d never met. I would be out for a walk some days and hear people calling him by name. Then I’d see him run over to them, get some hugs and carry on with his travels. It was a different time then. People were used to seeing dogs on the loose. Foxhounds are bred to run and he was no exception. In the winter he would cross the frozen river and go for miles and miles. Sometimes I would spot him from the top of the tall riverbank that was less than a block from our house. We lived on the edge of the city and there were even more coyotes in the river valley then than there are today. Mike didn’t seem bothered by that. He either outsmarted them or outran them. One of his many secrets.
I've had two foxhounds. Both rescues. Amazing animals and family members. Grew up with beagles. Always seemed nervous. My foxhounds were stubborn but kind of lazy. Needed to run but tired quick. Loved walks but we went nowhere-took forever when you have to smell every blade of grass. Adored them both. Miss their unique howl. One had been left on the side of the road after a "hunt" . He had been shot.
BEAUTIFUL Bluetooth ham!!!! I have fond memories of hearing Hounds bay late in the night on a hunt in the mountains around me. Haven't gotten to hear that in many many years!😊
I LOVE this bark!!!! One of our dog park friends has a Black and Tan hound. I live for the days something catches his attention. His bark (bay?) literally echoes off the buildings across the street. Hilarious and awesome🥰
I have a bluetick/ lab mix...has the bluetick coloration and barreled chest of a lab. "Duke" has tons of personality...Friendly but fierce. Hounds are the Best dogs ever! So handsome. So sweet.
Oh, the alert howl! My guy has a big, deep, clear, gorgeous bawl when he's happy but, when he perceives a threat, it become a roar. Imagine a deep, almost rough, masculine version of Passion's voice here. I think it would be enough to ward off a human or animal up to no good! Passion is a beautiful girl :)
Well, at least you know you can trust your dog. One of my boxers, started wiggling and dragged me up to the statue of a bear when we were in grizzly country. I made a mental note on the spot not trust that dog’s judgment on what puppies we were going to go greeting.
I live across the street from a Coonhound and I absolutely LOVE when they leave him outside for the night and he howls at literally any living thing or sound 🙃 I’m not mad at the dog, ain’t his fault, but the owners should have known a coonhound in suburbia was never gonna work unless they were committed to exercising him everyday, which they clearly are not as evidenced by leaving him roped up to the porch all the time. He constantly breaks out and roams the hood lol.
It's the same as people who have cats and just let them out. I love moving cat shit from my lawn from cats I don't even own. And one are not allowed to do anything about it.
Have a bluetick walker. He’s got a voice on him. I’m lucky that all my neighbors love him. If he gets too obnoxious they just shout “Willard knock it off” and he usually chills unless there is something in the sycamore tree in the backyard lol.
I have a coonhound and he doesn't bay or bark much, but when he does it is loud. I love watching people freak out and I then I have to tell them he is not a killer just a hound.
I'm getting a bluetick puppy in about 5 weeks and after seeing this video, I am so excited to hear him and my basset / brittany mix baying together in the back yard!!
Had a blue tick for 12 years. Thought i would never miss that stupid baying. Its been 2 months now. My walks are quite and my home is so lonely now. Goodbye Bruno you were one hellofa dog
That ain’t supposed to be there! Any time my dog sees something new in the yard “that shouldn’t be there”, he has to make a big fuss over it. He’s a Border Collie/ Black Lab mix and has a very loud bark.
My coonhound mix barked for 10 minutes at the dog on the Milkbone box. She was going to wipe that smirk right off his face, lol.
omg lol I cant
L O L ! I hope this is the kind of fun stuff I have to look forward to with the puppy I'm picking up in a few weeks!
My Bluetick Coonhound mix, Grace, HATES horses. At least on TV she barks at them and growls and it's really funny. She also hates the MGM lion.
Mine barked at a painting of my moms dog..... he wouldn’t stop till I took it down he’s also absolutely terrified of horses
@@laurenkifer9145 I can't imagine what my dog would do if she ever saw a horse in real life!
"What the hell do you mean, "whats wrong"? Are you blind?!"
The sound of a hound baying has to be one of the most beautiful sounds in the world to me
It absolutely is.😊
Even at 4am in the morning after you just got the baby to sleep.. Mhm, sure...
@@bombaya85 yeah that's my most favorite time to hear a hound bay
Any time really. I love all sounds a dog makes.
That. Right. Bro. Love. It
Such a good girl. Defending her home and family even though the danger's not real.
Lycan Seijin A real black bear could murder that dog
KSound Kaiju yeah and my 12 gauge could murder that black bear
92 Boosted Accord Good point
I have a fearless German Shepherd that would instantly go into attack mode. She wouldn’t stand a chance against a 600 lb black bear, but there would be no stopping her from trying.
@@ksoundkaiju9256 still,it’s a fearless dog. Some people would run away from a bear!but a dog would give you time to run.

Shhshhhhush human, I've got this. It seems as long as I bark, IT remains frozen. Go on without me. I will hold him back.
paulec252 LMAO !!!
Aaawwww
Would love to hear this bay piercing the cold winter darkness down by the river banks. Sweet music to my ears!
One of the most beautiful sounds in the world to me
Baying in the swamp looking at hog early on a Saturday morning....music my brothers sweet music

It's called a bawl not a bay.
I had one nearly thirty years ago.
They're an absolute pleasure to have.
The most dedicated dog, ever!
I love how they scream instead of bark lol.
It's called bawling.
A lot of energy pushed through their voice.
Technically, it's baying.
I finally found it! The Hot Weather Husky lmao.
good bark, pupper
WHY DOES GOOGLE TRANSLATE "PUPPER" INTO "TITS" LMAO
Beautiful dog. Great hound bark.
Not trying to be smart but hounds bay and they bawl
"MOM!! LOOKIT MOM!!! MOOOOMM!! MOM??? M-MOM LOOOOK!!!"
BEAUTIFUL Bluetooth ham!!!! I have fond memories of hearing Hounds bay late in the night on a hunt in the mountains around me. Haven't gotten to hear that in many many years!😊
I love her voice. Such a brave dog.
I LOVE this bark!!!! One of our dog park friends has a Black and Tan hound. I live for the days something catches his attention. His bark (bay?) literally echoes off the buildings across the street. Hilarious and awesome🥰
This dog is a ringtone on the Apple Store
That is a beautiful hound dog that sounds awesome Baying..

That’s a DAMN GOOD dog!
Next to the laughter of your first born son there's nothing more beautiful than the baying of a bluetick 😍
What about your second and third born sons? They don't count as much?

My coonhound goes BOOOO WOOOOOO WOOOOOO not BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This dogs yelling and I'm living for it.
I’m sure the neighbors were thrilled with this
Beautiful dog with haunting voice. x
Your dog is gorgeous. I like your fake bear. Y'all got a sense of humor. I put out my Easter bunny my Labrador had a fussy fit.
I bet your neighbors love you:)
Nothing makes my husband laugh harder then this clip for some reason. Thank you for uploading.
Good job baby. The whole county now knows their is a bear in the backyard
LOVE HOUNDS. My dog growing up was one, and then I unintentionally adopted one as an adult. Best group ever.
beautiful dog with a lovely voice!
You upset her with that "bear"'! I hope you gave her lots of hugs after all the commotion was over! I have some sort of blue tick basset mix. 🐶
I could listen to that all day. Wait I do. Hahahahahaha plus a Bassett hound.
He or she is beautiful absolutely stunning I love that sound
I could hear my bluetick (Scout) baying from the city park that was over a mile away from my house as a kid
That's her DNA from her wolf and hound ancestors screaming "ENEMY"!
Hahahaha ooooooooo the bark howl of a true hound!!! Lol she is beautiful!!! ✌️💜
Music to my ears! I love blueticks!
This is awesome! Great idea and a beautiful girl! I love blue ticks, I think I want one from a puppy.

Really good example of this unique kind of bark
Reminds me of Ralphie May's joke about Cher.
Beautiful dog!
Im sure your neighbors just love a barking dog.
Foghorn Leghorn the first minute or two fine but after that .... oh no

I came here to say the same exact thing!
Austin Venable I have a coonhound and she is very well behaved in the city. She barely barks at all. I wouldn’t leave her outside though.
It's the same as people who have cats and just let them out. I love moving cat shit from my lawn from cats I don't even own. And one are not allowed to do anything about it.
my dog is some kinda mutt hound, and her bays are higher pitched and she howls whenever she can get away with it haha
Beautiful dog, I like her bark!!
Have a bluetick walker. He’s got a voice on him. I’m lucky that all my neighbors love him. If he gets too obnoxious they just shout “Willard knock it off” and he usually chills unless there is something in the sycamore tree in the backyard lol.
Your neighbors must love you!
I have a coonhound and he doesn't bay or bark much, but when he does it is loud. I love watching people freak out and I then I have to tell them he is not a killer just a hound.
A blue tick's coat is from his lineage, the best dog ever bred. Non-debatable.
Beautiful voice!
My dog sounds exactly like this he’s a bluetick but a mixed breed from the pound. Good video lol cracked me up
Love it! My Redbone does the exact same thing if there’s a garbage bag in the yard. His name is Ash also!
I'm getting a bluetick puppy in about 5 weeks and after seeing this video, I am so excited to hear him and my basset / brittany mix baying together in the back yard!!
LOVELY sound! 👍❤️😎❤️👍
That is a beauiful dog!!!!
This is so cool, I love her.
Taking care of business. Hard to tell sometimes from a distance if fake or real. Great video.
That’s a great name for that hound, Ashen!
That’s kinda adorable honestly. Look at her yell at that “bear”
Hahaha Very Nice , love the coonhounds
My friend has a redtick coonhound and she never barks, only when someone she doesn’t know comes to the house and it’s only like “RUFFF”
I know your neighbors love that sound.
I love that sound!
what a voice when I lived in the Ozarks our preacher ran his dogs at night through the river bottom and hills and it was beautiful sound
What a good girl! My redtick bays at the deer trying to eat from our garden.
Beautiful voice WOW
Nothing sounds better than a hound on a bear
Learning about baying in grooming school... This is wonderful :P
My spirit animal
I just came across this post and I almost blew out my kidneys!
What an awesome dog.
I can't get enough of watching this video
You have a beutiful dog. My german shephard would have been trying to kill the fake bear but my pitt bull would have ran away and he's the male.
Your neighbours must love living next to an air raid siren.
hahaha i love this. regardless of what people say. i ear Chihuahuas all the time. i would rather hear this beautiful puppy.
good dog
What a beautiful bay!
Had a blue tick for 12 years. Thought i would never miss that stupid baying. Its been 2 months now. My walks are quite and my home is so lonely now. Goodbye Bruno you were one hellofa dog
This is freaking adorable.
Now why the hell does my Aussie lab mix bay?
I love blue tick hounds❤❤
Kinda can't wait till my baby starts howling, lol. Love it
That ain’t supposed to be there! Any time my dog sees something new in the yard “that shouldn’t be there”, he has to make a big fuss over it. He’s a Border Collie/ Black Lab mix and has a very loud bark.
Awww what a good dog!
best bark ever
This just made my day!!
My Bluetick barked at Wendy painted on a wall at Wendy's Restaurant. So hilarious. She barks at men wearing hats, concealing their faces too.
Nothing like a blue tick hound!
What a cutie! My dog is a Coin Houd too!
How much money have you found so far :-)
She’s game for sure !
Sounds like copper howling and barking from Fox and the hound
