there is just so much emotion in her voice when she sings this. in the chorus its like singing doesn't even express the pain she's feeling that its like she's bursting. its such an absolutely incredible song.

I love how simple this song is. Just voice and percussion. It's definitely a situation where less is more. Artists like this are the ones who deserve recognition, she proves that real musicians really do still exist.
Have you listened to sea of love by Cat Power? I don't believe it has percussion but it's also minimalistic and it sounds really good that way.

Sameeeee. I fell in love with it straight away. Its so accoustic. Its got such an unusual drum beat, (im not sure if its a djembe - however you spell it - or just a borngo sort of drum, i dont play percussion, you can probs tell) but i love it, whatever this is. So different from the rap and crap (no rhyming intended) and i just lurrrrrrrrvvvveeeee it. The contrast from the simple verse to the chorus gave me goosebumps.
